Tue instrument is called Sitar. Used in Indian/Bengali/Pakistani Classical music. Thanks for the review, its a good club fusion with Classical music. She is singing the notes and the instruments are playing duet with her notes (that's how the Classical performance we do.)

As a linguist this might interest you Carol, Bangla is of Indo-Aryan origin, hence the similarly with other languages from the same family though it's very distinct (I mean all of them are). It's earliest form is Magadhi Prakrit which is not the case for Hindi or Urdu. Trivia: International mother language day is based on Bengali language movement. The first Asian person to win a Nobel prize is actually a Bengali poet.
