The whole theme is "StillHere", referencing Kindred who is Death Incarnate. Whether it's the Past (Morgana &Kayle), Present (Tryndamere), and Future (OldMan Yasuo). Death is "Still Here" no matter whattime it is. You can see Kindred in the Fires of the Past destroying Aatrox, Facing Tryndamere, and Shooting a Fatal Arrow at Old Man Yasuo in the head.

@@ApexGale We definitely can think that he accepts it since he takes the arrow , and even more than that , yasuo can escape that situation very easly we saw him in an other cinematic in almost the same situation just using the wind to be safe , and this clip using the same situation to show us that he changed , if he decided to live , kindred wouldnt even be here since he wouldnt even be in danger , and the fact that this is a " possible " future of yasuo let that kind of things happen easily . He definitely die on purpose in this cinematic . Its not ambiguous , its just elegant way of telling it .

I think Ashe's expression works fine, she's a leader and knows that they are not out of the fight yet with enemies approaching. You can see her eyes scanning the surroundings as she runs up to Trynda. She looks a bit concerned at him and their situation. Obviously she won't be running in crying or laughing, and she's not in a position to be relieved either. It's honestly a very subtle and perfectly fitting facial expression.

he mentions she runs weird and i wanted to explain adding to your comment, she runs in a weird stance because shes ready to fire the arrow with accuracy, shes not running to run fast, shes keeping upper body as still as she can while running so that she can still shoot her arrows which i thought it was pretty cool for them to include in the animation, i used to do archery so very nice detail.

I like that he gets it. Tryndamere was fighting for his life, while fighting death. A perfect representation of his Ulimate. But he fails at the Ashe part. Ashe is a very stoic character, after the hell she went through, to lead she has to be the rock for her people. Her wedding Tryndamere wasn't about love it was about union, so she cares about him, and maybe a little for him, but she isn't madly in love. This isn't Lucian and Senna kind of love, this is game of thrones uniting 2 peoples kind of love. And then if you watch her eyes she is surveying the surroundings looking for any more targets and then she looks at Tryndamere and her face does soften, but like I said, this isn't them madly in love.

Yeah, I think perfect comparison for Ashe and Tryndamere would be Ned and Catelyn from Game of Thrones. They also weren't in love when they married, but eventually developed feelings for each other. Plus, even outside of love, there is obvious mutual respect between Ashe and Tryndamere, since they both leaders of their people.

I thought ashes facial expressions were the most muted in the cinematic, but it’s all in her eyes. She’s focused as she drops the two and enters the scene then the eyes shift to concern as she makes eye contact with Tryndamere before shifting back to securing the area. I felt like it was a perfect representation since when you slow down at the end where Ashe shoots her bird into the sky you can see more enemies closing in on Ashe and Tryndamere

I think Ashe says a lot in her small expression changes. * She starts out focused on hitting her shots. * When she runs up to trynd, she shows worry, compassion, and thankfulness to see he's okay. * After she verifies that Trynd is going to be alright, she goes back into fight mode, turning toward the environment to focus on any nearby threats that she might be able to see or hear. Maybe I am reading too much into it, but that's what I see with her minor expression shifts.

That's exactly it, also I think it's the first time they actually connect emotionally and their relationship starts to blossom, given the fact that it was purely political in the first place, people that made this trailer are one of the best storytellers in the industry, conveying most of the story without saying a word, I love good filmmaking :)

Ashe HAS minimal facial expressions. But look closely. You can read everything from her eyes because all of her emotions are in there. I think this is very much on purpose. Obviously. She looks colder and more distanced like that. Reserved as the ice itself. Pretty much how I imagine her character to be. She only "melts" around Tryndamere. The same way Tryndamere cools a bit down around her.

lol what? the way his fighting is literally how a person would fight a wild animal that is attack them...... also his a berserker and him seeing kindred during his undying rage would look like he has gone ape sht crazy on the real world where his enemies just sees him swinging his weapon around and going ape sht crazy... this makes even more sense when you see battle scars from him after the wolf was mauling him throughout the whole encounter, also the reason why enemies just appears behind his back after he ended his undying rage

@@michaelka3071 So actually he is not really fighting them , and at the same time he is , the cinematic shows that he actually killed soldiers during that kindred fight , so yes he is also fighting the soldiers , but he does keep the injury that wolf makes by biting him on the shoulder , and its not a sword injury . So its litteraly both at the same time , they are both real if we look closely the cinematic , my thinking is that the wolf and lamb fights like the soldiers , for example when wolf attacks by behind it is actually the soldier , but they are at the same place , it makes more sense since kindred and wolf dont fight like that , they never fight , their " fights " is like the death of yasuo , one arrow , to give a peaceful death , and the wolf ready to attcks if you refuse the lamb , they are litteral gods , makes more sense if trynda just sees them when he ults . Also the way of fighting animals is totally normal since he is in " rage " and also , it is a cinematic , everyone wanted to see trynd fighting death itself , not basic soldiers so ofc they will not make him attacks like he is killing humans , the goal here is to make it ambiguous , was it actually fighting kindred ? Ig we will not know with that one , because there is litteraly proofs to say that he did fight kindred itself , but also proofs that he did fights the soldiers .

@@Barook yea it does look like it where he sees both kindred and the actual enemies, but it is better to simply say he does see kindred and knows their presence if we think about his status as a berserker, after all he was written as your average berserker in fantasy novels where they lose all reason when they rage and everything that is near them ally or enemies are implicated by his attacks. his cinematics along with his berserker trait seems much more logical and understandable instead of saying he sees both enemies and kindred cause that would have alot of plotholes, especially the way he was fighting during that scene it didnt look like he was fighting humans or to be more accurate wintersclaw tribesmen, those people dont fight like a wolf or any kind of animal, they fight like your average marauders or pagan barbarians during the viking era

No the old man is yasuo , its the possible future of yasuo sent by kindred , he had no sword because he decided to not kill anyone anymore , thats why the choice of taking the sword on the ground looks difficult to him and he takes time to take it , and thats why he is not killing anyone but he just knocks them out and even save the leader from the arrows at the end by sending him away . And finally , it is yasuo cuz he has a scar on the nose , like yasuo , so a character with same face and body than yasuo , same scar than yasuo , same power than yasuo , same fight style than yasuo , is probably yasuo xD .

He's the only streamer I've watched except of course Necrit (League Loremaster) that have been remotely close to figuring it out. Trynda didn't die because he got saved by Ashe, he didn't die because he cant. I don't know how long ago in the lore it was, but when Tryndamere was fighting Aatrox, Aatrox stabbed him with his greatsword. This caused blood magic to enter Tryndamere's body, making him immortal. Kindred at first did not realize that he was unable to die, but when Kindred tilted her head after the backflip she did to dodge Tryndameres spin, she started realizing that "The time for this person's destiny is yet to come". That's why she didn't shoot him (Right before Ashe's arrows showed up)

Nah thats not it. Spear does get it right when he says hes not actually fighting Kindred, he's fighting the warriors around him but because he would have died without his blood magic, Kindred came to collect his soul. Kindred doesnt actually kill anyone themselves remember, they just appear when you are about to die. So yes, when all the guys he was fighting died (after Ashe shot the last two) he was no longer going to die so Kindred left.
