The story behind this was unexpectedly amazing. STELL was invited to do a front act on The Hitman and Friends Concert. So he prepared 3 songs All I Ask, Defying Gravity and his new single Room. When he was about to do a sound check on the day of the concert, David asked him if he could try singing All By Myself. So they did a rough rehearsal and David asked Stell if he would like to sing it on that night. So Stell out of shyness and excitement said yes and the rest is history.

This was really an amazing performance by Stell. When he was invited to be part of the opening act, he prepared three songs: "All I Ask" by Adele, "Defying Gravity" from the musical "Wicked," and his debut solo single "Room." During the rehearsal he was asked by David Foster to sing "All by myself" and he nailed it.

Stell's performance is nothing short of impressive. And what makes it even more incredible is that he was only supposed to be an opening act and this "All By Myself" performance was unplanned, not part of the concert repertoire, and an impromptu challenge from David Foster. It's insane to think that he had already sung three high-pitched and vocally demanding songs, and to top it off, he's not in the best condition (he's sick). I had to mention, too, that a day prior to the concert, SB19 had intense performances at an event. And the elephant in the room-he's a man, hitting the piece in female key and doing it cleanly. Stell is a legend in the making!

Few years back Stell had sang All by myself on their concert but its a diff rendition..David saw his performance on tiktok and commented an emoji..and here, on David's show, Stell was the front act and sang 3 songs, All I ask of Adele, Defying Gravity and his debut song Room(hope you can react on those)..he was not part of the main show but during sound check David old to sing, Stell was confused and asked what song..David said All by myself..then upon hearing Stell David asked him if he wanted to sing it on the show, e's confused and just answered if its okay with u Sir,though he was very confused..ofc he wont say no, opportunity only knock once🤩..thats why during the intrumental part he's murmuring to himself,kept remembering the arrangement given to him😊 im amazed on how he sang it so smooth, soft & gentle and with clarity, he dont just belt, the shifting and control was amazing🥰maybe thats how he differ frm other singers with belt power😉✌️more power to your channel🙏👍😊

David Foster were the ones who requested Stell to sing in his concert in Manila. He was originally only slated to sing as an opening act for the show but on the day of the concert itself, David asked Stell if he could sing All By Myself during the main show. Noteworthy is that they didn’t even have a proper rehearsal for this performance.

Stell was not really part of the original line up. He was added as a front act only a few weeks before the actual show. Then asked to perform this song during his rehearsal on the day of the event itself. David Foster liked some of Stell's solo performances before.

Well, he's the main vocal of SB19 for one. Based on their songs alone you would know his range especially their ballads. Maybe we'll see more of the countertenor Stell as a solo artist. When with the group, he'll have to adjust to whatever the song calls for that's why they also do it excellently.

In an interview Stell mentioned that David Foster once reacted with a "wow" emoji in one of his previous tiktoks or somethin.. Then for this David Foster's concert in Manila Stell was invited to do the opening act so he prepared 3 songs. During sound check rehearsal a couple of hours or so before the concert, he was asked to try All By Myself and after that he was asked if he wanted to sing it in the concert. It's hard to say no to a David Foster and seeing it as also an opportunity, Stell said "If it's ok with you Sir". And so that's what happened. Also Stell kept on sayin in the interview how nervous he was (he was not mentally prepared i think).
