I love how they changed the way some of the lyrics to flow better in English. Because English & Korean have such different sentence structures, Chan had to really think on how to convey the same feelings & message as the original one. All of 3Racha worked hard on getting it to have the same feel & meaning. Seungmin felt so sorry for the rappers in this one. Because they had to do fast rap in a language they didn't fluidly know already...Mostly. Felix & Chan had the advantage in that, but the others (Hyunjin especially) had a weaker grasp on English at the time this was made. They did so well.

I like one of the top comments to this performance video: smth like what an amazing feeling to hear a kpop song and understand the lyrics (since most kpop groups when releasing smth in English make it sound more westernized). SKZ have 2 English native speakers, so their English lyrics is on point. Han looks so iconic in this video! I love his dance break so much! so much charisma.

What i love about hyunjin's verse, "dramatic cut scene..." is that he has been criticized for his Korean pronunciation and English isnt his native tongue. But when he is given verses, theyre almost always tongue twisters (like in Back door). And it while i dont understand Korean, its THIS specific English verses he had in Double Knot shows how much effort and practice he makes to enunciate. Oh, and they even talked about their translation process in Genius

But I'm glad you did 😊 And yes, Stray Kids's english version songs delivery are always as good as the korean versions. Levanter, SLUMP, and Domino have the english version too. Maybe you would do reaction listen / watching both korean and english versions in one video hehe.. Yea, I am back but far from healthy. I feel good enough to sit a bit longer in an upright position but my stomach does still hurt and getting up and moving - not to mention laughing or god forbid coughing or sneezing - is really tough. Pain meds are very good friends at the moment. So mostly it is feet up, leaned back, netflix or youtube.... I'm on a three week sick leave from work (we get that fully paid in germany - health insurance covers that and in germany your company cannot fire you when or because you are sick.) So basically I'm doing rather good and chilling at home while getting paid. At work I would have to lift heavy stuff so that just wouldn't be possible atm... So - three week vacation of sorts ;)

Same in Canada, work insurance paid for me to be off for my gall bladder surgery recovery, with job security.

I recommend watching bts, because straykids nearly always have nothing fake in their mv's and performance videos + yes that temple is real, you can also see a 'temple' in thunderous that is real

Thank you very much... So as for my fav books.... that is quite a difficult question. I like lots of books and genres. I enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, dystopian, cyberpunk, thrillers, horror... and of course mixtures of all of that which has become rather common nowadays. - I really enjoyed the 9 books of the Expanse series. It was a long read but worth it, although the last two weren't that good anymore. (I don't want to watch the tv series because they left out some characters and changed the plot) - Shadow and Bone series and the other novels in the "Grishaverse" by (Leigh Bardugo) (there was also a netflix series on one of the shadow and bone books but it mixes two novels into the same timeline to fit one season that happened after each other in the books so it gets a bit messy but it was ok to watch) - The Murderbot Diaries (Martha Wells) were pretty cool. - Neon Horizon series (Michael Robertson) was a fun quick read. - Imajica (Clive Barker) one of my all time favs - Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn trilogy (Tad Williams) old school fantasy - Day Zero + Sea of Rust (Robert Cargill) nice apocalyptic wasteland "robot western" - Dry (Neal Shusterman) one day there is no more water coming out of the faucets... (it was fun to follow the teenage protagonist Alyssa through the mayhem) - The Stormlight Archive series (Brandon Sanderson) fantasy series - very detailed - very long ... 4 books up to now - Stormblood (Jeremy Szal) scifi cyberpunk - great read. Good lord, those are really just a few that came to my mind right now. I would have to give you a list of all of my books because I enjoy them all. But those were the more recent ones I read. Imajica and Memory Sorrow Thorn are already rather old but I keep rereading them because I just like them.

I still need to read that one. It is the first in a trilogy (Kingkiller Chronicles). I know the first two have been published and the third and last in the series is set for publication in December 2024... I will probably wait until then because I might just buy a nice boxed set of all three together. I have heard so many good things about The Name of the Wind.

Felix und Bang Chan sind beide in Australien aufgewachsen. Han, Sungmin und Hyunjin sind ziemlich sicher in verstehen und sprechen. IN, Lee Know und Changbin verstehen wahrscheinlich das meiste sind aber eher zurückhaltend mit sprechen.
