My friend, I've been a huge stray kids fan for a few years now and I couldn't tell you anything about their lore or JYP lore 😂. I just love the music, the MVs, the performances and the boys' personalities. The lore is there for the fans that enjoy it, and that's wonderful, but don't feel like you need to study and learn it all if it's feeling a bit overwhelming or ancillary to you at this point. There is SO MUCH amazing stray kids content to consume; the lore is very optional. Loving all of your reactions, thanks for all of your work!

13:45 This pose is the boys forming a double knot. They are their own double knot, their own strength, holding themselves together no matter what may try to tear them apart. Unfortunately, after this statement, something did tear them apart with Woojin leaving. The boys were in turmoil for a while but pulled themselves together, like the double knot they are.

If it’s not been mentioned yet this is the last MV with 9 members. From Astronaut onwards it’s OT8 & as the members have said they became 𐍃τᴙᴀγ𐌺ıᴅ౭ with their Gods Menu era even tho they went through Levanter era as OT8 but that was more or less their transitional period of grief for the group’s members departure & acceptance of their new re-debut with Gods Menu. Levanter is possibly one of my top favorites from them it’s so truly beautiful & powerful lyrics & watching them all rewatch their performances in that one video & as soon as the songs music started playing they all immediately went quite & didn’t even speak for a moment which is a phenomenon in this group lol but it just broke me just thinking that I wish they were able to speak their minds more freely without being monitored or restricted of what they’re allowed to say or express themselves. Because we all know that they all want to say things that they just can’t & you could clearly see that on all of their faces as they were watching that stage. I’m surprised that they left in the moment that Hyunjin said “they all were just spiteful” because it really does give a tiny bit of insight as to what they really were going through during that time of their lives & it’s just heartbreaking knowing how much they have been through since the survival show predebut & how incredibly close they truly are with one another & then one just decided to leave outta nowhere & it’s never been discussed since as if it didn’t happen & they just had to act like they didn’t feel hurt or betrayed or sad or whatever they felt. That’s what hurts. Because levanter is truly a stunning song & knowing that they preferably don’t like that memory for obvious reasons just sucks.

thanks for reaction)) there is also an English version of this song and it has a performance video! this MV is the last one with Woojin in it, the performance video of the English version is without him as well as all following MVs. I love this song a lot! And Han ate the dance break, I hope he is the centre of dance break more often. regarding the story line - I am not sure what exactly this MV means in addition to what you mentioned yourself. fun fact: there is a pre-debut 3racha called "double knot" :) music-wise it is totally different, but there are references in the lyrics. there are also references in the lyrics and MV to another pre-debut 3racha song called "broken compass". by the way, Stray Kids lightstick represents a broken compass! NMIXX and Xdinary Heroes debuted in 2022 and 2021 respectively, so I guess there are some references in the story lines but not as much back into SKZ MVs I think. and in general, from what I have heard of it is really just references. I guess JYP was inspired by SM and their Kwangya universe where all their groups are, but JYP is not that deep :) Pronounciation fo the French Clé could be approximately written in German as "Kle" (so without "j" at the end).

With stray kids' theory, it's often an understatemtent to say "overanalyzing" or "thinking too much" because sometimes, it's actually those reaches that makes more sense in the next songs HAHAHA Like, that door is not just a door just as those keys aren't as plain as they look. HAHAHA even their choreography holds meaning especially once you watch Levanter's choreo and see the references from their past songs. But double knot, or "owners of cle" is like a prelude to the fact that they have now access to more possibilities than just the elevator (Hellevator, Miroh, Side Effects). This is important since they'll be opening doors in Astronaut and meeting more doppelgangers while seeing the past artifacts from their MVs. And in Levanter, they'll be burning that elevator and will be using doors. edit, plus they've got doors in God's Menu for Backdoor HAHAHA

🙋 I'm a STAY since their survival show era and still confused too 😄 All I can say is they are between two timelines, that's why their MV(s) keep glitching and there are two moons. The storylines continue until "Levanter" MV (according to genius STAY's theory that I read) Thank you as always ❤ and by the way, they also made performance MV for Double Knot English version 😊

I’ve read other comments, and decided i dont have to comment much on this video as i think other commenters have said it all 😂. But I really hope u will continue reacting to stray kids as they are much more to discover and learn about them. From God’s menu onwards u can definitely see the boys got more comfortable and confident with where they are and who they are where as from debut to pre-god’s menu, it is more harsh/lost child kind of vibe, trying to find their footing, trying to find their ways in the crazy world etc. From God’s menu onwards, their colours shined more. Their versatility shining through more and you can see how they are just being them, not sticking to one genre, they do whatever they want, they try and experimenting with whatever they want. And it is so fun watching that, and watching them grow. EACH ONE of their MVs are a must watch. Thus u cannot stop reacting. Haha And their behind the scenes, recording the songs, albums also a must. There u can see them not just as stray kids, but also as producers, and as a very hardworking young lads. And their live performances are top notch!! U havent watch the mama 2022 yet, a must watch. I have read tons of comment of how people always commenting that they have been to so many concerts in their life, including all the westerners, world class artists, but nothing beats stray kids concerts. And seeing how young the boys are, and what kind of music they go with, u’ll be surprised of how many “older” fans they have. They have a huge fan base from all over the world from the “older generation” ranging from 40-70 especially (when usually these ages dont really listen to “noisy music” 😂😂😂. But. Their songs are good, their attitudes are good, their interactions are good, their performances are world class, etc etc. And all these contribute to people falling in love with them. Usually the cases are, their child or even grandchild introduces them to stray kids, and they ended up being a bigger fan than their child/grandchild and will go stray kids’ concert with the kids, not once, but whenever they got the opportunity to do so. Anyway, im blabbing too much. Sorry for that. Just being a bit emotional when it comes to stray kids. Hahaha.

We are the generations that saw the birth of prog rock, hard rock, and all genres of metal, as well as rave parties in the 90ies. Growing older did not tone down our musical tastes... My pre-stray kids playlist is crammed with noisy music (I am 50). I don't know what 40 to 70 adults you know, but please don't make generalities from a handful of calm people...

I totally understand, those older in ages have gone through the birth of all kind of music. Just that it is safe to say, some older people tend to prefer calmer music BUT OF COURSE not all. At the end of the day, music is universal, eveybody’s taste is different. Even younger people, not all of them love noisy music, lot of younger people love slow, ballad calmer music, and vice versa. Dont manipulate my comment please 😅. For example i’m the oldest in my office, but my music taste is the most hardcore compared to others. I listen to noisy, rock, fast songs etc, while they usually listen to normal pop, ballad, r&b type of song. So yeah…

Thank you. I get what you mean. For the moment it is about the songs and the music for me. I really love their music and the thoughts they put into it. I can't really see myself getting interested in much of them outside of the music at the moment. I watched one of Bang Chans live things... it wasn't really for me. But thats ok. I have loved the group Metallica since they dropped their first album in 1983 - they were my ultimate heroes for a long time.... but I never cared about their private lives or what they did next to their music.

Double Knot is very cool, especially, for me at least, in the context of "owning the keys" and the lyrics of "I can go anywhere now". I may be wrong bc I also don't have a clue about the JYP lore, but I always interpreted it as "we finally made it out of hell and broke through the matrix, we entered the city jungle and acquired the keys to go wherever we want". And then they first went to Yellow Wood and discovered the Side Effects and all, but they are beginning to realize that they can open every door (and locks?) now ehehehe - but that's just my interpretation bc I feel like it fits with Stray Kids' general attitude and their repeating lyrics of self-dependency and freedom through their self-production and uninhibited genuineness. Ah, yes. So much happens in lore. And this one has stuff that applies to both Astronaut and Levanter. The door that they unlocked & looked through? They didn't go into yet. (That is in astronaut. Chan looked through it, but didn't go yet.) Hyunjin was running around to find routs. We see him at multiple crossroads. He was the one to find the key. Chan is the key keeper, so Hyunjin gave him the key. Felix was using the compass. We see it shatter. And Felix's lines are about following a broken compass in the void. (This connects to Levanter) He too was looking for routs to follow, as the compass was starting to track other choices they had made. You see Seungmin marking maps. And the keys on the maps. They are all choices. We are never really told what those were, but we can guess the members did go several different ways. And those made more branches in their paths. (One of those paths, I think leads to Scars. I didn't include it in the story line. But it actually seems to mirror parts of Levanter. Things in one, seem to effect the other. But they are not directly linked. Just in my chaotic little brain. After Levanter, you could watch Scars to see the similarities. It's in Japanese, so no subtitles. You would have to watch a lyric video to understand the lyrics.) The members are starting to get worn out. We see them pausing to rest a lot more. They have injuries that haven't healed. They are on constant look out for surveillance. (We do see drones tracking them) Because of this, the members are starting to draw closer together.

*ASTRONAUT* is a song that no one is sure where to chronologically place. There are 2 main theories: 1) You know how the group split in Side Effects. Some STAY say that Double Knot and Astronaut are two sides after that split since both the MVs end in the similar way, so they happen at the same time. And then there is Levanter. 2) The Astronaut covers and narrates the whole journey since it references ALL the previous MVs and ends on a similar note, and is after Double Knot. BUT, it should still be before Levanter cause we still have 2 moons in Astronaut

I’ve only seen/heard of the SKZ lore being SKZ lore - the other groups I think the only one to tie in possibly would be TWICE - but honestly I don’t try to connect the groups (if we are talking the newer groups I suppose they could reference but they wouldn’t be built into the SKZ storyline from 2019 well before they were a twinkle in JYPE’s eye if you will…. I keep it ‘simple’ and just work within. SKZ and leave the rest to others.. it’s a fun world they built 😊

I am glad that you like the song and the video.😀 Clé does mean key in French, and you pronounce it like klee. (Like the c is a k and it's like a ee at the end) Honestly, you are able to get the storyline of skz without involving the JYP storyline. If you only look at the skz videos you will get the skz storyline. I was the same at first I only got a few things, and I was really confused. But then when at the end when they explained it in the "Stray Kids : Prequel (Highlight Reel)" video you're going to be like oh now I get it. (This one is the one you watch after the Go生-trailer and before God's menu) 😀 As a reaction to your sentence of I wish there was a book of this. Their storyline is inspired by books and poems, so maybe after you've discovered the storyline and watched the videos, you can read those books/ poems. (as a person myself who likes to read books, I liked it a lot to discover it was inspired by those books)🙂 I can't wait for your next skz reaction😃❤

I know this is a Stray Kids reaction video, and of course I watched and loved it. They are incredible. But I’m begging please check out an artist called Ren. He is phenomenal and is a modern day bard. He does such a good job of telling a story via song, a lyrical genius. You will be changed once you discover him. He has: Hi Ren, a three part - Jenny, Screech and Violets tale. Then recently just finished three part called money game. I’m of course subscribed and will be here for every Stray Kids video. 😂You think to much about the storyline...their story is pretty simple a journey of bunch of kids to find who they are and achieve their dream. They spice up their storyline kinda look like fantasy film. The got many references from movie,bible,poem,korean say and a lot more.. All STAY got is just theory that not yet confirmed. Actually bang chan himself encourage STAY to come out with their own theory.

I am a person who can dive very deep into a story. As you see my bookshelf in the back of the videos .. that is only a part of my book collection. Of course their story is simple but if they have put the thought in all the details then the details mean something to them - the artists - and they want to say something with it. That is what I am interested in. Being an artist myself I know that every brushstroke I put on the canvas is important to me and I could tell you why I am putting it there.... Thats why I like to try to go into detail with these videos.

Thank you so much. Yes I know I should try it more often.. I know Han and Seungmin because of the Lee Mujin Service I watched.... But I do get I.N and Hyunjin and Lee Know mixed up in the videos... Hyunjin is the most recognizable of those three for me most of the time. I've got the same problem in real life though... If I meet up with a group of ppl that are unknown to me I can recall all the girls names the next day but I'm mostly clueless on the guys... been like that since I was a teen... But I will try :) promise

@@NeonReactionsPierre Another great reaction from our boys. Thanks! The names become automatic for us when we watch the mvs and notice the peculiarities of each member of the group. There is still a lot to see and a lot to know and the names will become more common over time, there is no need to rush. All the boys have a range of talents and each one stands out in some of them. For example, people often classify Lee Know as a dancer, but he has excellent vocals and raps. Seungmin is wonderful in vocals, but also in rapping. Felix passed the JYP audition as a dancer only and today we have his great vocals and rap. I.N had great difficulty dancing and today her stage presence and dance movements are very good. Our Changbin is the king of rap for me, I love him, and his vocals are wonderful. And the same goes for Bang Chan and his beats, Han the ace and Hyunjin's melodic rap. His journey is just beginning.
