Video idea - Do a 2 round NBA redraft from 2018-2025 NBA draft class. But only draft them based on college play, and not actual NBA performance. To see who would be the highest scouted prospect out of college, if those players from 2018-25 were to all come from the same draft class.

Vecenie gets wacky at times with measurements. Essengue is at least 6'9" without shoes and 6'10" with. Possibly, even taller. Watched him play against the Blazers and he was clearly an inch or two taller than Banton who is between 6'9" and around 6'9.5" in shoes.

Hopefully, Portland takes the BPA regardless of position. You're right as I agree that Newell is too high here. Within this particular mock draft scenario/context with who is left, I could see them taking Tre Johnson, Khaman Maluach, Egor Demin, or a Noa Essengue. Simons is going to be traded at some point and very likely so will Ayton, possibly Williams, and Reath is of no consequence at center, all with which leaves Clingan as the only future center. So, someone like Maluach could definitely be selected in this particular mock draft.

Youth, size, agility (asa has super quick 2nd jump ability) passing ability. They're not far apart. On my big board I have asa in the 7-10 range, fleming right after in the lotto.

I just don't think Ace Bailey is 6-10. His wingspan is crazy, he should be a top 10 guy, but not top 5, IF he's there because of his size. I think he's like 6-8.
