i realised that in a lot of these clips Iverson had to go against multiple help defenders (especially in the paint) because of how bad the spacing is from the rest of his team. If AI was playing today surrounded by great spacing he would have no problem averaging 25-30 ppg 🔥
@undefeatedandundisputedcha37732 жыл бұрын
Thats what AI has for a career average anyways. (26.7 Pts) Regardless of era AI would always be great.
@newera5238 Жыл бұрын
I think he averaged about 26 or 27 points a game, his whole career. I remember when he won those four scoring titles, he was his unstoppable!
@peterstark4562 Жыл бұрын
In today's game? 30 ppg in a good team. 37-40 ppg in a bad team.
@alexanderthegreat564910 ай бұрын
@undefeatedandundisputedcha3773 Right! That's his career avg ANYWAY! Today he's at min avg 30 every season... probably 35 for a career.

I'm a 76ers fan and everything, but I don't think AI is as crazy as everyone makes him out to be. I think a lot of this shows how bad a lot of defense was in this era, rather than him having "the greatest handles". I've seen lots of clips of other players with crazier handles, AI is kinda messy, his defenders are always just slow. His finishing is top tier though
