The cake looks adorable! As a New Englander, I only watched the British Christmas Ads once you exposed me to them years ago. Now, they are a holiday tradition, so thank you. I actually really loved this year's ad; I am very close to my sisters, and we lost our father to pancreatic cancer in August, so this one got me. I love this cozy Sunday morning ritual of watching your post with a cup of coffee.

I don't think the mum is dead. I think its more like the memory wants her to go dance with them, but she can't because it's just a memory she can't stay she has to move on. At least, that's how I saw it.

That’s a looooot of work for a kid’s party. I would have given up halfway, good job! 👍🏻 I personally thinks the ad is a bit complicated and ambiguous to understand.. the thinking of the story kinda kills the touching moments.. I rewatched it twice to understand it and felt more emotional only on the 2nd watch. Luv the “shield” comment.. indeed we all need some protection in this mad mad world Good vlog! 😂😅😊
