I just don’t get why people pay for expensive skincare products when there are almost always equivalent products reasonably priced. The only exception I have found is the Peter Thomas Roth THD ascorbate serum. I can’t find a better priced version with the same % of THD.

Retrouvé is an incredible amazing brand! Ain’t gonna lie it’s ‘spensive BUT you only need the tiniest amount and the products last a real long time. It’s truly magical and can be cost effective.

If you like vaseline, try Rosebud’s lip salve. Friend introduced me to it years ago, I’ve had a constant supply ever since. It’s vaseline minus a bit of tackiness but with the same intense moisture. I like the mint version! I have this and the La Neige lip mask (repurchased the lip mask a couple times while living in different climates). Right now, I’ve hit pain on the lip salve and have an untouched lip mask-even for makeup prep, always return to the rosebuds salve. Even as someone who’s particular about germs, I happily stick my finger into the rosebud salve, knowing the benefits that are coming my way (they have tubes too, but as a former vaseline girl, the tin hits different) After hearing the vaseline/lip mask debate in a few videos (and screaming while reapplying the rosebud’s salve), had to comment. And add another vote for the encore!☺️

Less tackiness than vaseline **lip balm, similar consistency to vaseline (straight petroleum jelly) but with most staying power!
