Thank god they banned catapult turtle. I don’t know what I would do if catapult turtle was still at three. Now I can finally play Master duel again. Wait why are these level 1 pyro monsters all over the place?

Konami ban lists are a joke at this point. They love snake eyes and clearly want every format to be playing it for an entire year. And if any other decks try to compete, those decks will face the chopping block. I’m stepping away from master duel because it’s not fun.

Master Duel banlists are inspired by the OCG banlists, so it makes sense that they are pretty bad. For TCG we only had 1 banlist to deal with Snake-Eyes, ban we need a big one for various reasons. Yea we are entering month 4 or 5 of Snake-Eyes domination. Tear was falling off and was hit way harder at this point.

I'm probably reaching, but I suspect it's because one of the current Selection Packs have most of the Snake-Eyes cards people want banned, and since it still has (I think) over a month, they don't want to affect potential sales of it, even post WCQ.

TBH I have no problem with FTK decks. It's honestly not all that different than one card combos setting up unbreakable boards turn 1. Both end the game without the opponent actually playing.

Idk why everybody saying they can't hit the deck because their cards are still in packs. 1. They're out of the newest packs already. They're in reprint packs... 2. Cards have come to the TCG LIMITED ALREADY WHEN THEY WERE HIT IN THE OCG, so please explain, why can't they just do the samething in MD? People trying to make sense out of things that make no objective sense. Instead they wanna hit my boy catapult turtle 🐢 😢. Catapult turtle did nothing wrong! He just shot down a floating castle, and now everybody's on his case.

Don't get it twisted, this banlist is garbage, but banning Catapult Turtle now is fine, cause players in MD are currently doing a Catapult Turtle FTK with the Horus cards. I have come across it a few times now. All it takes is Sarcophagus and the trap Ice Barrier or anyway to dump it. Summon all 4 Horus monsters after dumping them. Make Photon Lord (as 5th summon for Nib protection), then make Draglubion to summon Numeron Dragon. Use Numeron Dragon to make itself 17000 ATK. Use Ice Barrier to dump and add Catapult Turtle. Tribute Summon over Draglubion and use its effect to burn the opponent for 8500 damage. This is a combo that does currently work in the TCG as well, but isn't as reliable because MD players don't commonly play as many hand traps compared to the TCG, like Ghost Ogre or Ghost Mourner for example. It does lose to a single Imperm or Veiler tho. If they didn't hard draw into a Horus name, even a single Ash on Sarcophagus killed the FTK, unless they got Sarcophagus threw Imsety

Imma tell ya'll like I tell everyone else : KONAMI will never stop powering up a lore deck until they find something better. Stop asking them to hit a deck that they think is telling a lore story until they feel it's finished. look at Albas/Despia, Visas Starfrost as examples. If the story's not done by KONAMI's standards, they aren't touching a deck archetype support both directly or indirectly if it means they stop shilling product. Might as well keep forking out money.

Spent £300on a horus nurelia deck last month to get hot red dragon banned i mean fairs that card was kinda broken. Then Spent another £300 on a pure rescue ace deck for this month. Now my only nomral summon in my deck is at 2 yeah fooooouck md. Spent almost 1k on decks in 3 months just for them now to be all unusable. Finished with this game not worth my money rather spend it with other company that acually provides value for money in terms of fun.

@@GhostintheMachine25 neither is snake eyes, horus, hat really annoying Utopia ftk, and the annoying exodia draw decks. From what I see they did hit some problem cards like the turtle since it's part of an abused ftk combo. Kinda like how they got rid of Rhongomyniad, and now you rarely ever see anyone use numbers evail or bargain sale now.

3:03 I personally disagree with your take on kash in yugioh master duel. It’s a deck that makes you run something other than 3x ash, 3x max c, 3x imperm you have to think about board breakers to deal with arise heart. I feel like any deck with an easily accessible out to its boss monster or card shouldn’t be penalized because it plays differently then other decks. IE doesn’t have something to do with the graeveyard and instead it’s the banish pile

the reason why snake-eyes didnt get hit is due to the current packs in the store wich keeps them safe.But i guarantee when those packs leave the shop i do think about 70% chance that snake-eyes ar gonna get some hit mainly poplar

I was ftk’d by a pretty consistent combo because of catapult turtle. It needs to be banned as well as anyone who used that strategy shouldn’t be allowed to play yugioh anymore in any of its forms because they cannot be trusted to not abuse the rules again.
