I really hate that daisy's leaving because she was a lead dancer in s8 and she is really strong and versatile and for her to have this amazing, confident "i'm going to crush it" attitude that everyone loves, to go to this, "this just got real" kinda attitude is really strange. It really is Presley Part 2 😢😢

CBBC finally figured out how to promote Season 9...capitalizing on those of us who want the OGs back in cameos by using Brittany to get us to watch Season 9. They used a Season 4 picture of Jiley to promote Season 8 only for Trevor to show up as James for 30 seconds and invite Piper to live with him and Riley in NYC and now they're using Britt to promote Season 9...😂 Hey, if we get 30 seconds of Riley telling Emily or Michelle that she and James and Piper are doing great in NYC, I'll take it 😂❤

I'm actually excited, like finally we have another season!! I wish they did use another song though for the whitewall trailer instead of cannonball, because I'll always think of the first episode of season 8 whenever I hear that song 😭 also I really really wanted an off season for season 9, like we've had the off seasons since season 5 to show what's happened in between each season, but now we don't it feels like the excitement level has gone down an inch, especially because the off season used to get me so invested and intrigued as to what's going to come in the season especially with the little hints they'd give in each mini episode. I also feel the same like the ppl who say nothing tops the season 1-3 cast like I totally get that but like let's not ignore the fact that season 6 was honestly such a good season too and also I don't really have a problem with newer seasons or new cast, the only issue I have is with recycled plots, because then to me it's like you have these new characters then you should make some brand new storylines that have never been done before to give depth to the characters and make it memorable. that's why the mole storyline was so different and actually unique but having grace be a potential Amanda 2.0, just feels like there's an inability to create something different with her character and others, and I felt the same with bringing lucien back and ultra elite in my opinion. anyways, I'm so excited for your reactionsss, I remember waiting for your reactions during lockdown in the summer of 2020 for season 7 and the weather was so good and sitting down watching your reactions was such a highlight! 🥰

Considering there is no off season this timeand this season has less episodes I would assume that there budget has been cut, however, they could also have purposely cut those things to put more money into internationals which I'm all for since last season was a but lackluster when it came to nationals. As for the marketing for this season it's been so poor. I mean if u don't have social media is there any way you would know about the new season? And yeah the Tns KZbin and even their socials don't seem to put up much of anything related anymore which is a shame. As for A-Troupe while we don't know 100% who's leaving till we see it happen it is kinda obvious since new team pics have been posted and those new character vids like u mentioned basically spoil who will and won't be there. I do wish they'd try to keep it more of a surprise. I guess Heath & Dasiy and Jett & Xander wont be happening then plus I guess Clude will also be going. As for Grace's story I genuinely dont know what they plan to do with her that isn't a recycled story on top of the fact that idk why shes trying to take them down since she willingly left on her own. I guess we'll see

I'm excited for Season 9 of The Next Step. I hope we see Winnie's tap solo and more scenes from Winnie this season. I'm looking forward to seeing the new characters of Season 9. I'm not sure if Presley and Ariana Storyline in Season 9 will be the same as Skylar and Cierra & Jacquie and Davis Storyline. I hope we get more development from Jett, Xander, Daisy, Ebby, and Anthony in Season 9. I hope we get more solos from Heath in Season 9 since his Season 8 Solo of Corner was amazing. I'm excited to see Adele in Season 9. I hope we get an Izzy and Heath duet. I hope they mentioned Dylan leaving had to do with them going on tour with their sister Margo. Also, Hattie plays Olive and is best friends with Adele. I'm also looking forward to seeing Eldon, Cleo, Michelle, Kenzie, Heath, Jude, Grace, Miss Kate, and Richelle back. I hope we see Cassidy who is Maria's daughter back as well since her character was really good in Season 8. I'm also looking forward to seeing Kenzie doing more solos since her solo in Season 8 was really good. I hope we see more of Nick in Season 9.

You mentioning that someone forgot the Next Step channel password made me laugh because it’s so true!😂 The lack of marketing is actually shocking considering how much marketing and engagement we got for Season 6, 7 and somewhat for 8A. I also think they were definitely due to post more Season 8 content such as more full dances and performances too because I noticed a lot was still missing including the songs which always used to be uploaded on the channel. At some point, they just suddenly stopped posting. The Season 9 confirmation wasn’t even put on the main channel either. The CBBC channel even started posting some other deleted scenes from Season 8 with Richelle and Ebby confiding in each other and then dancing and also Anthony, Jett and Izzy having some scenes together. I’m totally convinced that the password has been forgotten at this point so the CBBC channel has really had to do a bit of heavy lifting with the promotion😂 I hope they can reactivate the channel and start it running again once Season 9 starts. We definitely could use someone like you to help kickstart it again if they allowed it. Cannonball is a great song but I find it odd how it was used for the Season 9 trailer when they usually use the new opener songs for their respective seasons. I also couldn’t resist but look at the sneak peak that they posted yesterday and all I can say that the Season 9 opening dance definitely has a bit of a different vibe to it which is interesting. Looking forward to seeing your reactions to it. I was pleasantly surprised to see Brittany Raymond and Myles Erlick involved in some of the marketing content with the reactions. Makes me wonder if Riley will guest star in this season or if they’re just being used for promo. Either way, that has me intrigued. I’ll be gutted to lose Jude though. And is a bit of a shame that Daisy and Xander are most likely on their way out too. I really do hope we get a Season 10 though because this season will have less episodes than Season 8 and it just feels like it won’t have enough to fully cover the entirety of Internationals in my opinion unless it becomes rushed or something drastic happens. We definitely need a Season 10 so that if the show eventually ends then it can least end on a two digit number. #TNS10When

I'm sad Daisy and Xander are leaving. After all the hype around Daisy and Heath's Nationals duet, I thought we were going to get Daisy and Heath as the next iconic duet partners, the way we got James and Riley's iconic duets for 3-4 seasons and Noah and Richelle's iconic duets for 3-4 seasons as well...but nooooo Daisy's leaving. 😭 Also, I really liked how Xander "worked his way up" from J-Troupe in Season 6 the same way that Noah and Richelle worked their way up, but noooo we're losing him too? @@Alltoowell15 I know it's never been "set" that we get iconic duets, but Gen 1 had James and Riley and Gen 2 had Noah and Richelle and I really thought Gen 3 would have them too and I was looking forward to them from Heath and Daisy...I don't know if that's too much of me appreciating the "old ways", but I honestly thought it was kind of a tradition that we get iconic duet partners in each TNS generation😂And as for Xander...I'd rather have lost someone who was a newbie in Season 8 as opposed to someone who has been there on the outskirts for like 3 seasons.😂
