Michonne standing in the hallway waiting on him while he fighting himself on the other side of the door is one of those wordless scenes that speak volumes.

The lovemaking scene was more of an emotional release than a physical one. U can tell he was still fighting it and that's why she grabbed his hand and put it against her heart.

Danai addressed writing that scene and said specifically that he began to have a panic attack. She “saw the wound” and realized she needed to stop and make sure he knew he was with her, she was with him and safe. She grounded him, holding his hand to her, and -what I thought was the most beautiful wordless dialogue-she began to breathe, encouraging him to breathe with her. And when they let out that final breath together is when he *saw* her. That’s when the scene-and their position-shifted. You can see by her face that she can see that a part of a wall has fallen and he’s almost back. But, as she said a bit later, he was still lying, and she had to make him break the rest of the wall down and come clean about what the CRM really took from him. Your reaction had me laughing and crying with you. Can’t wait to watch your seasons 5 and 6.

Best reactors for this episode. Baabbyyee when Michonne told Rick I don't know who you are anymore..Shamonda, you sat straight up!!😂😂 1. That argument scene, 2. when she told him she was beating herself up for leaving her kids, 3. and of course when Rick finally talked about losing Carl again...all 3 screens made me cry😢. Run them Emmy's to them BOTH!! Ooh that love scene though😊😉😍 "chef's 😗" 🥵🥵

I love the symbolism of Michonne handing Rick the cellphone with Carl's sketch, as if she was helping Rick 'see' is son again even if only in his memories. What would Carl do? Michonne gave Rick his heart back.💗 Then the symbolism of the building crashing down...like Rick's captivity with the CRM and the torture now literally being torn down and crumbling away...let the healing begin with love.💗💗💗 And yes, like many, I know what it feels like to have loved ones that have died visit me in my dreams and then they don't. It's very bittersweet. This episode really hit me in the feels!!!😢 Thank you both!☺💚💚

My chest hurt, like I could actually FEEL my heart breaking. What magnificent acting by Andy and I will riot if he doesn’t get an Emmy. Same with Danai for writing this masterpiece of an episode. “What if I can’t figure out how to die all over again” was the most soul-crushing line in all TWD for me. You could see Rick’s body relax as the burden was lifted from his shoulders when Michonne said they’ll protect their home **together**. Until that moment, Rick thought it was his responsibility and his alone. The long years away from Michonne and all the brainwashing made him forget how tough and brilliant his wife is. ❤

Hey guys this was another fantastic episode. Danai wrote the heck ouuta this episode and her and Andy acted the heck outta it. And yes we and them needed this talk and time together. I see some folks was mad bcuz they said all they did for 45 minutes was talk and make love they used the other word but I wanna be respectful. But Rick and Michonne needed this talk. They haven’t seen each other for almost 9 years it ain’t no way they was just gonna go back to like it before as if they both didn’t change. I swear some folks don’t understand story telling. Carl 😢 it was so sad hearing that Rick couldn’t see him anymore and now we know why the artist couldn’t draw him bcuz Rick couldn’t see him anymore. But Mama Michonne came through like she always does, she got her husband and her kids Daddy back. I 😭 I laugh I clapped I cheered at the end when they came out kissing and kicking ass. Richonne is Back baby! As for the car people forgot that Rick only have one hand bcuz everyone said the same thing why can’t he drive 😂 but it’s ok he’s got his wife who was happy to drive him. Great episode great reaction great acting. Next week should be good too. My kill wish is jadis Thorne and Beale, we need fresh meat at the top in the CRM. Bye guys

@cleogriffith9921 (Shamonda) I LOVED THIS ONE! Yes, I agree that some people do not understand story telling. And as Richonne fans we needed to hear the hard conversations between them two. How else were they able to move on. Nine years of being apart from your loved one is bad enough as is- but to find them broken and you don't know why is another. When Michonne kept asking Rick what happened to him- and for him to say his reasons was heartbreaking but at the same time- a relief to know his reason of being so distant. I love their love! Thanks for stopping by and sharing with us.
