The problem with Wilhelm and Simon at the end of season 1 was that Wilhelm *didn't* admit he was in the video, not that he did. Simon was already outed; he wanted Wilhelm to support him publicly and was snubbed.

Simon was already out, he wasn't outed by the video, but Wilhelm was outed to his family through the video and didn't get any support from them. Since he is 16 and a minor they can make radical decisions over his head whenever he doesn't act like his mother expects him to. His mother forcibly took him out of his last school and is doing the same again now. The problem is that Wilhelm doesn't have control over his own life.

It was the betrayal, Simon hurt so much, he feels he cannot trust Wilhelm. Wille should have talked Simon beforehand that he would deny the video. He said nothing to Simon.

@@EmberC Wilhelm told Simon that he would talk to his mother and tell her that he wants to be with Simon and doesn't want to make a statement and that's exactly what he did. Unfortunately she didn't show any understanding like he hoped she would and used Wilhelm's survivors guilt over Erik and his anxiety to push him to do what she wanted. Wilhelm never told Simon that he actually spoke to his mother about Simon and she didn't support his love, he just took all the blame.

@@pixodixo Yes, Wilhelm wanted to do what Simon did, tell the journalist he wouldn't make any statement. Unfortunately due to Wilhelm's position as the Crown Prince he was expected to make a statement and his mother basically said he owed it to his brother's legacy to make the statement.

In that scene with the shotgun pointed at August's head, you can see Simon in the background, so it's the same scene where Wilhelm tells him "You think you can get away with everything", and Simon and Wilhelm are confronting August, so it might actually be Wilhelm who is holding the gun to his head 😱

@@ramizeajeti1534 I don't think so. I think Simon freaks out at how far things have gotten out of hand and tells Wille to stop and runs away. Wille throws the gun away and runs after Simon, turning him around and pulling him into that fierce hug we see. They decide to stop their revenge after that. Wilhelm threatens his mother instead to take action against August or he'll tell the truth. His mother decides that Simon is a bad influence on him and gets him forcefully taken out of the school. The only thing left of him there is the orange sweater he wore over his white polo shirt, that be forgot in class. Simon finds it and takes it with him and then realizing he might not ever see Wille again starts sobbing into it... That's my guess. 😭

Also I don’t know if you’ve noticed but when August has a gun to his head he wears the same thing as in the clip where Wille and Simon are talking to him and you can also see Simon in the background when he has the gun to his head so it’s possible that Wille is the one holding the gun

By the way, Alexander is back, he's in that happy scene with Wille and the other boys. Maybe Wille told the guys about August making the video and then wanting them to blame the whole drugs thing on Simon to prove his power over Wilhelm, because he knew how much Simon means to Wilhelm. And the boys all end up telling the head mistress that August gave them the drugs, so Alexander is redeemed and allowed back...

In the first season August is already regretting he leaked the video when he learns that royal family paid his tuition because Wilhelm asked them to. And even more when Wilhelm finds out that he leaked that video and says that he's not the part of the family anymore. Especially as August really values being part of the family. So it looks like it follows that storyline from season 1.

It's interesting they didn't show anything about Simon finding out August leaked the video of him and Wilhelm, I'm convinced that will happen at some point this season. If he does find that out and also finds out Sarah and August are together then I am grabbing the popcorn and living for the drama. I'm not sure Marcus and Simon will get together, seems a little too cliche and Simon still obviously loves Wilhelm so maybe it's more of a 'what if' situation.

I love this trailer too, it's so intense, and yeah its gonna be hard for Wilhelm and for them both, because they love each other, but Wilhelms family/Wilhelms mother can just plan things for him, even if he likes it or not, because he Isn't 18 yet etc, even if it's so sad for him, that he don't agree with the dessitions just being made over his head. But they just see the responsability he has to the family and their legacy/name/traditions. I also thought maybe he will end up abdicating/renouncing the throne because he just wants to be with Simon, and if his mom was to change the rules so he could be with Simon and still be King, and they could find some other heir somehow, so Wilhelm wasn't forced to produce an heir, maybe Simon would take it, Just to be with Wilhelm or maybe he wouldn't want all that public attention they'd get, I'm not 100 % sure. And maybe Marcus is gonna be a "Rival" to Wilhelm over Simon or just some new friend of Simons, that Wilhelm gets jealous on, because he thinks he is gonna take him away from him. And lastly yes, August (still) has a lot of problems, and I don't know, if I like him with Sara, and if they that way are gonna try to give him an Redemption arc. But I love Wilhelms friendship with Felice.

Don't bother....I wasted 6 hrs of my life binging it today. No plot or character advancement....just lots of drama with no advancement of the narrative. The entire season should've been 1-2 episodes, then have 4 episodes to really advance the plot....instead.... it's basically all the same as at the end of season 1.....what was the point??? Just a money grab, that I hope doesn't kill the series.
