This guide is more about the struggles and success of the group. I think it’s because you don’t pause and missed a lot of what’s mentioned that it felt like “just awards” lmao but those are not “just awards” ikon may not be the most famous group but they have the biggest awards any group could have on their belt! tbh it lowkey gives me anxiety when you talk over hanbin’s speech, that’s a very touching moment for any ikonic as they’ve been through so much before they got there! I understand tho how a non ikonic can’t appreciate this, its long and its a long read i know, maybe its just the wrong video to invite your brother lol there are better guides out there if he wants one that details the members but nevertheless thanks for getting it done! and done on their 6th anniversary! 💗

I donr watch your videos in patreon since I don't have the means to :(( but im surprised you think WIN is a much more chill survival show, I personally think its one of the most, if the most cruel one ive ever since. The physical aspects having to choreograph, make your own song in a short span of time and with the pressure of competion. Plus the emotional and mental aspect, having 11 trainees who were basically friends have to compete against each other and make their dream debut happen at the expense of the other group's dream. The uncertainty of where you're going next as a group, the fear of not being able to debut at all and/or your team being regrouped. given that then team b had a teamwork like no other, it wasn't just a matter of debuting as an idol for them, it was more of debuting "together". All that when ikon members were so young, they were only ages 16-20 I think. It was also hard for team a aka winner. i could only imagine how terrible I mustve felt to not be completely happy winning and debuting knowing you just crushed someone else's dream. Either way, whoever won. it was bound to be heartbreaking. im glad, team b supporters fought hard for ikon thus yge had to give them a chance and keep them together. God, that survival show had me traumatized. Ig it did for most people, and yge in fact learned there lesson that's why they weren't as harsh during ygtb.

B.I always said losing in WIN was the hardest thing in his life...ofc this is when he was in iKON so 2019. That's when he got his tattoo Nihilism and got into depression and wrote many sad songs like EMPTY which YG took and gave to Winner as their debut song. It was probably bittersweet to see EMPTY charting #1 because he wrote the song but had Team A perform as they watched on TV as trainees with uncertain future.

9:05 longevity in training in comparison with other does not always guarantee you will be better than them or that you have higher chances of debuting than them. That's what happened to team a and team b during win, team a trainees trained longer than most team b members but team b suprised everyone when they gave performances at par sometimes better than the other team despite being younger and having trained less. Same as during ygtb, not even a year long trainees vastly improved and ranked better than 3-5 yrs old trainee. One can never be truly complacent. The challenge with Mix & Match was the original team members had solid teamwork, they were one at mind and heart. They work very smoothly without having to discuss and talk a lot. So the newer trainees had having a hard time trying to be "one" with the group.

for me, junhoe’s visuals is UNIQUE rather than ‘weird’. he has very distinct features that are different from what we got used to seeing in most korean idols which makes him stand out even more, other than for his vocals and personality.

Watching this made me emotional. I'm a YG stan, and i'm really an iKONIC since 2015, and this vid showed us how iKON struggled from the start. They're a group that faced a lot of struggles until now. It's just so sad that they are not getting the attention that they really deserve. They are really talented and their music are all amazing. I just can't imagine, if hanbin didn't have to leave iKON, I guess they have made a lot of great songs. But still, until now, still hoping for the best for iKON.

I think WIN was the most stressful and the most cruel survival show to exist. I am sorry to say but the words WIN survival show and chill cannot be together in the same sentence. Them producing and arranging songs to having practices till morning then performing it after having 2-3 hrs of sleep almost to none. Them having to choreograph their songs as well. When that fan said in the video that they were sorry for not having team b to debut it was the most heartbreaking. Thats why the person who made/ edited this video/guide added all the list of awards because those awards were not just "just awards" for us. Those informations maybe nothing to non ikonics but for us it was everything :(( But still thank you for reacting to this miss eve :)
