My Record "Room" is really just a small corner of our small apartment, as we save almost every penny to buy a house, so I was a little embarrassed to send it in. I think I will though, just for the hell of it! We all gotta do what we gotta do I suppose!

Good idea, Frank. All of these put mine to shame. I have more than 2,000 LPs, 500 45s and many CDs (I have not counted them yet.) So storage is my biggest challenge. my "room" is just a part of my den. This gives me lots of ideas for improvement. Thanks!

Love your channel and really enjoying looking at other people's setups as I am just starting with my own. Interesting you use the spin clean too - I do as well, but some say I ought to buy a Ultra Sonic Cleaner .........but the are pretty pricey. The SC has been working OK for me so far though.

This is a great concept, Frank. I really enjoyed seeing these. All great for different reasons. I think this has legs way beyond just two episodes. I'd suggest you keep doing this, and if you run out of photos, just wait until you have enough to do another. Doesn't have to be on a regular cadence.. I may even send a few photos of my own in if I can motivate to set up the tripod, but mine would definitely be described as being of the minimalist variety. Nothing compared to those first two, for sure!

😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣my music room is a little record player in my apartment or the record player i have on my nightstand next to my bed lol. I recently aquired a magnavox astro sonic console that i love too. I do have a cd jukebox 1015 bubbler up here as well! And a pool/air hockey flip table. I unfortunatly sold my beautiful pinball machines several years ago. I'll get one again someday.

Unfortunately my room is still under destruction. Long term plan is to shoot a room tour video for it along with a finds vid. Problem is it takes 2 things I don't have in abundance, time and money!

I love the segment Frank and definitely encourage you to do more of these. Seeing these rooms makes me so green with envy. My space is basically a corner in our family/play room. That's the sacrifice you make with young kids. It's definitely cool to geek out and see others rooms and equipment. Have a great week! -Bill

Don't worry eventually the kids will grow up and move out. Lol. Then you can make one of their rooms into your music room. That's what I'm doing now. My room is a modest 9'x10' but I added a 48" smart tv to watch sports in it too. Be happy with what you have! I am.

@@youtubeviewer7030 To use? The Revox machine were quite responsive and easy to operate. I think the models 2NUR had were A77's, or could've been B77's. They could go from play to record without stopping, good for running edits, we were taught to do cold-start and running edits as part of the community radio course I did back in 1988. I can explain the methods later. As for finding them to acquire, you'd be lucky! Machines like these don't turn up at second-hand goods shops or recycling centres very often, if at all....AND THEY'RE NOT CHEAP, even if second-hand they can still command a hefty sum of money to buy them.

I love the new segment, BUT for people that love music its a crying shame (not just in this video but in general) that many don't set up the speakers properly, this would allow you and others to hear the music how it was supposed to be heard and you would gain more enjoyment from the hobby. After all, listening is what you/we buy the music for. I would love to actually see more of what i call "domestic systems" not man caves or spare rooms. Rooms where the whole household can enjoy music and is incorporated tastefully into the living space where spouses need to approve as well. Which is what i feel most here are trying to achieve, the balance. Though i think here in the Uk the culture is very much to sit down, but very interesting to see other people enjoy their music.

Mine kinda sucks compared to yalls ! I have an "insignia" 100 watts per stereo receiver! Sound great to me though! A "souped up" Sony PS-lx 300 USB with an elliptical stylus upgrade, and a "go groove" outboard pre-amp to help it along! You'd be surprised how much resolution I can get out of my records with that suped up cheap machine! I can't use my speakers, as I share a room, but I do have a "Samson" professional studio headphones (also inexpensive , but sounds hot)! Sounds great after I did the alterations! I did the best my limited budget would allow! You'd be surprised what you can do on a fixed income, proving you don't have to be rich to be in the hobby!

Yw! I'm a audiophile from way back. But I agree with you that you don't need to spend a lot of money to enjoy this hobby. God knows that I can't afford $4000 turntables or $12,000 speakers! Geeeez! My room is still a work in progress. But working nights doesn't give me time to work on it or enjoy it.

All of the room are awesome and blow mine away. But mine is a bedroom/ office/ music room, and my wife puts up with it cause I let he have the rest of the house (LOL). We are just cramped for space where we currently live. But I am rehabing a old barn/ garage here so I am debating on building me my own "He Shed" in there.

Hey Frank. Awesome video! I was wondering, I've been considering making an Upgrade on my stylus to a LP Gear Ultimate Ortofon 2M Bronze Cartridge SET, which is pretty expensive for my budget, and I've seen that you have the Blue Ortofon. Is the difference that big of a deal? Because the price sure is... I really want go make a purchase where I don't have to worry about changing it again in a very long time, but I want it to be a smart purchase and not just compulsive action I may later regret, for not getting the Blue. Any comments are much appreciated, Thanks again!

I've used the Deoxit products and all the snap-crackle and pops disappeared from the guitar cables, then found that it can improve tv reception with a antenna. My first can of Deoxit Gold lost pressure so I wrapped it in a heavy towel and center punched a hole in it and drained it into a small glass bottle and use Q-tips for applying. It's worth it!
