How do you learn arabic?
@ahmadmanga2 жыл бұрын
@@fizariaz9170 first start with learning the letters, and ask an Arab native to teach you the rest... If you're only doing it to learn the Qur'an I recommend learning the Qur'an and words as you come across in it. Qur'an is in the classical Arabic, but the words used in it are surprisingly small compared to how deep the language is. If you're learning Arabic to speak with Arabs you'll need to know first which Arab people you want to speak to. Every Arab culture has it's own dialect, while we all understand Modern Standard Arabic, it's not the natural way for most Arabs to speak in, so have a specific reason to learn Arabic and learn what fits it best. Even most Arabs today aren't well-versed in Arabic so you don't need much to reach our level.

13:20 The Saudi people recognize that we were not witnesses to the lives of the prophets and their companions, nor do we know precise details about them. Therefore, attempting to portray their stories risks distortion or misrepresentation. Religion holds a sacred status and should not be treated as a commodity for promotion. Additionally, depicting their appearances may lead to inappropriate imitation or false claims. However, Saudi Arabia is committed to producing works that highlight Arab history and culture, including stories of the wars against the Ottomans, the lives of pre-Islamic poets, and collaborations with anime companies to creatively present and preserve authentic Arab heritage.

It's difficult to assign your personal connotations! The problem with English the western world has that everyone has their own meaning of simple words! The Arabic language is very beautiful. The religion of Islam is the true religion because it is a religion of monotheism, and all the prophets came to their people with the message of monotheism, and each messenger had his own law to teach his people, and because we worship one God. Allah is the Creator of everything and He is the Lord of the worlds, mankind, jinn, animals, angels, and the universe. God creates what we do not know. He is the one who sent us the messengers, peace be upon them, such as Moses, Jesus, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Muhammad. To show us that there is only one God worthy of worship, and to warn people against disbelieving in God, following Satan and polytheism, and worshiping anything other than the One God, the Creator of everything and Lord of everything.

11:30 What he means by that is extremely difficult to explain and it would have to be experienced first hand. It is by definition unimaginable. Basically the moment the Holy Qur'an was first revealed to the people, they were in shock, because to them it simply was unimaginable that their language, the language they thought they had complete mastery over, could be used in such a new way. Imagine if someone came to you and spoke proper and grammatically correct English to you, but he uses the language in a new and beautiful way that you couldn't even have thought about in a 1000 years. You can't imagine that of course, but that is what gave so much credence to the Holy Qur'an. The unimaginable actually happened in front of the very eyes and ears of these people. Even to the enemies of Islam back then, it was clear that these words didn't come from a human and they accused the Prophet (saw) of being a magician or of being in cahoots with the Jinn, or an evil deity. 1400 years later, the Holy Qur'an seems much more "normal" of course, as the modern Arabic language has changed and adapted a lot due to its existence, but even to this day, there is this certain feeling you get when your read it. The feeling that these really are the words of a Higher Being, directed at you specifically. Actually, even a good translated interpretation can have a very weak version of this effect on the listener. It's eerie and one reason why the Holy Qur'an is considered the miracle of Islam. Your idea about an Islamic equivalent to Hollywood sounds nice, but the depiction of religious figures is strictly forbidden in Islam, to avoid the risk of idolatry. There is one movie called "The Message", which is from the 70s. It was directed by a Muslim and tells the story of the Prophet (saw), but it does that in a very unique manner, as it has to do so without actually showing him or even his voice, and without showing any of his closest companions either. That of course make the movie a potentially difficult watch, especially for non-Muslims who don't understand why these precautions had to be made. It also lead to the director being forced to take some artistic liberties, which is also a spicy topic in itself. Still a great movie though. The strength of Islam is not that it uses modern technology to spread its message, its strength is that it remains unchanged, despite all new technology. It's the fastest growing religion currently, so despite all, an optimisation isn't required.

Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi (Throne) extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great." Obviously, the girl in the video didn't finish writing it, the video is edited duh but yeah that's what's written and it's so easy to read and write once you know the language, because in Arabic each sound has its own letter and therefore when you spot the letter you know how to read it.

You wouldn’t realise or understand how powerful is the words and sentences in the Quran, how it is different from any normal Arabic books and poetry until you know the Arabic language 😅. Even those who have Arabic as their first language doesn’t realise this fact (they do study about it but you know) And not all of them of course. For us Muslims and Arabs Quran is a miracle not only for what it’s contain or what it is talking about, but for how perfect each word was placed, the so special way of speaking. Those who studied the Arabic language (like literally, I mean scientists but I don’t know how to name them? Arabic language scientists?) would be the most people who’d really enjoy the beauty of the Quran language! This is also why the Quran can’t be changed and wasn’t even, when we hear a verse from the Quran we know it’s from the Quran, knowing that not all of us memorise it at all, but because of how powerful and distinct it is, we can tell that it is god’s words. “And if you are in doubt about what we have sent down upon our servant [Muhammad], then produce a Surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful (23). But if you do not - and you will never be able to, then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers (24).” Surah Al-Baqarah. Hope this helps!

The video isn't an attack upon other languages or nations. It's aim is to describe how powerful language was in the early age of human civilisation. The Arabs had amazing memories, they were also of the habbit to store entire volumes of histories in their heads and relied on their power of memorisation to preserve informationsince there weren't alot of literates among them. They were also proud, before a battle between clans there would be a competition between the best poets from either side and it would decide the Victor without bloodshed. The Quran challenges the idol worshipping Arabs to come at from all angles. Especially linguistically.

5:20 That's because that's the classical Arabic everyone at that time spoke, (they also had insane memorization ability back then,) nowadays you'll be lucky to find someone knows more than two names of camel, and the 10 words of love mentioned here? There are many words for friend but each Arabic community these days has a different implied meaning for them so we understand them as just "friend" when we speak with each other.

Yet they recognized that it was a style, a u ique one, one that's better by miles from all that they had. It was so good that they said it's magic, imagine you hear some bars and you're like "this is magic, super human" in a literal sense. It came with Arabic words that they never heard of before, yet understood immediately as it was revealed to them, among those words us the very name "Quran". Example, let's say I tell you "you need to Estinvitize the recminilation of the docimian bohre" and you immediately understand what those words mean "I made them up btw lol"

i am an Arab and the Arabic language is easy for me after 12 years of learning, from the age of 6 until the age of 18. I can master most things except for poetry and the eloquence of the Qur’an. English is easy to learn from 10 to 18 and French from 18 to 23 years old. For information, the Arabic language is wonderful, for example, my name has 3different meanings The meaning varies depending on the context of the sentence easiest after hardship or right or rich (عجم)Wrong translation does not mean silent or speechless its means ajam =non arab =not-eloquent= Invisible =Lack of clarity

True, i'm also wondering why didn't they make a movie about a muslim warrior. Example, like Khalid Bin Al-Walid. But there is a movie about Sultan Al-Fateh, the conquerer of Constantinople.

What you saw in the beginning was calligraphy, not regular Arabic. The regular letters are pretty easy to write as well and you can learn quickly
@immigreat542 жыл бұрын
The calligraphy is a form of art. It doesnt mean that arabic is normally written like this, this way is only used to beautify it. When a non arab (the one who doesn’t know the language) would want to read, there is an easy way of writing arabic.

about the end of the vid the idea of islamic movies to spread the message, it is a nice idea but the issue with it is that we are not allowed to do so as simply as any other movie there is a level of respect to the prophets and the followers of the prophets that doesn't allow that kind of thing to happen cuz we can't really imagine what those people have been through, yet there was a movie called the "the message" and there is a tv show called "Omar AL farooq" if u guys are interested

You are sooo right about arab countries should have their own movie and animation production companies

there are also some palindrome that has mindblowing meaning. in english may be you have palindrome like "wow, race car, pull up" etc, but those don't have deep meaning. but in the qur'an there is a verse says: وَكُلٌّ فِى فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ "that means every thing in the space has its orbit" and the palindrome is in these letters كُ لٌّ فِ ى فَ لَ كٍ. the letters in alphabet are like; k l f y f l k, but in qur'an it has such a mind blowing meaning like those letter are orbiting. and there are other mind blowing palindrome in the quran

13:40 well they are more interested in building the tallest building rather than making a movie hahaa

13:53 to be honest, I would rather read the stories in the Quran as they are. Tafsir of Quran works like a Time Machine! The Quran can take you 1000’s years back, 1000 years forward and relate to present day! Sometimes reading a book is way better than watching a movie that will be interpreted according to the producer/director of the movie.

As foe the language, do realise the text you see is calligraphy. The way its actually written day to day is so much more concise and efficient. Think how there's these fancy cursive letters for English. It's very easy to write in arabic quickly lol, just as it is in English.

" From wind and sand are my steps I'm the traveller and the road, Gods visit me and go And travelling emptied me from temples Am the Arab, who was worshipping the rethyms that flows on his cloak like stars, and worshipping his words. Arabs are the only ones who can speak any other language as fluently as their mother tongue The pronunciation of letters for an Arab person enables him to master all the pronunciation of letters for all other languages because pronunciation in Arabic is the most difficult to pronounce

There are 2 series that are really good: Omar and Ahmad ibn Hanbal. They are in arabic but you can find englosh subs. The two series are made from Qatar. It is actually difficult to produce islamic films because you have to be carefull to not show prophets and you have to stay strict to quran and sunna
