A lot of people say they look "more mature". I too thought most of them were already in their early 20s when they debuted. But actually, only one of them was 20 when they debuted in March. The rest were 19 or younger. Two of them turned 20 in June, so now three are in their 20s, but the rest are still in their teens. The youngest one is still 16, but will turn 17 in December.

The only member who's not fully Japanese is Harvey, the rapper whose voice you liked. She's half Australian. They all speak at least 3 languages and their group promotes in Korea despite being a Japanese group. Hikaru trained with them but the company hasn't officially confirmed that she'll join them at the end of Kep1er but it seems very likely

Fun fact (not really fun), the two rappers in the second verse of Mascara are both 16. I bout had a conniption when I learned that. 😂 Also, they're all Japanese, but Harvey is part Japanese and part Australian. Her mother was Japanese. yg This is a group falsely advertised as a rookie group. They fooled many with their dirty publicity tactics. yg has officially announced that a group named xg is not officially affiliated with yg. There are still many people who are deceived into being affiliated with yg or related to yg through this false publicity. The music, choreography, styling, and most of the music video production went through the hands of Korean staff. So it looks like K-pop, but is actually a Japanese jpop group with a K-pop style. All the members are Japanese, the company is a Japanese company, and there are no Korean songs. The representative of the agency also answered that he received help from a Korean producing, but that it was not K-pop. xg is not a kpop group. They are just trying to take advantage of K-pop's fame and popularity.

The group has said from the beginning that they are a global hip hop and R&B girl group, it is also on their website and you can see in their videos that XGALX is their company.
