tldr: maybe the marriage questions aren’t being asked because you’re women but because you girls are one of the few muslim content creators from the uk that place an emphasis on deen and islam in your videos. salaam my girlies, i enjoy your content so much and i make duaa that you girls succeed in all your endeavours, Allahumma Ameen! i wanted to address what you guys said regarding the emphasis on marriage in most of the questions you received and marriage questions being directed at you in general. i understand your frustrations tbh because it must get tiring but i also wanted to suggest another reason people are so curious when it comes to this specific topic with regards to you all. i watch a lot of uk youtubers and what i’ve noticed about you guys is that it is clear that islam is important to you not just in your everyday lives but in terms of your content. it may seem like an obvious thing to say- you are muslim after all- but i can’t be the only one who has noticed that this isn’t the norm; especially in reference to similar uk content creators. obviously i don’t say this to place you three on a pedestal and put everyone else down, nor am i suggesting that it is a requirement to focus solely on islam in your content if you are a muslim content creator. i just mean that i noticed that you guys hold your islamic values close to your hearts and IT SHOWS in your content (Allahumma Baarik). i think i’m not the only one who sees this and that’s why i believe it could also be a reason your supporters ask about marriage so much. there are a few muslim male youtubers i watch and those who place islam at the forefront of their content or even simply wear islam on their sleeve (like you guys do) also get a ton of questions to do with marriage and/or finding a wife and stuff like that too. just wanted to suggest an alternative viewpoint, Allah knows best. keep doing what you’re doing my sisters, may Allah accept your efforts!
