If you look at lewandowskis career he’s had some amazing moments from winning 2 bundesligas with BVB lewy scoring 4 goals against Real Madrid (prime ronaldo arguably) to making it into a champions league final then going to Bayern winning everything with them breaking records that iconic 5 goals in 9 minutes then going to Spain and helping Barca win the laliga first time for ages I can go on and on Suarez is amazing though brilliant player lewy and Suarez deffently the best strikers not just in this generation but in the history of the soort

One side you've got a great Real Madrid team which is stacked from top to bottom. (Kroos, Modrić, Case, Marcelo, Ramos, etc.) On the other side in Barca you've Xavi retirement, old iniesta and NOT so good midfielders and defenders compared to Real Madrid. That's why MSN underachieved and BBC 3-peated. But when it comes to only the trio and NOT the team, MSN > BBC (based on how good and effectively they were together)

I think Modric was a pretty fair winner considering he performed in both tournaments but Ronaldo could have also won it for havinh his 3rd best champions league campaign of his career. Messi had more goals, more assists, and even had more ucl goals than cr7 in the calendar year 2018. he was the best goalscorer and best playmaker at the same time in that year. Yes modric had a decent wc campaign and yes Barca got dogged on by Roma but if we're looking at the whole year Messi was the best, the fact that Messi was 5th at the ballon dor is beyond diabolical
