my hot take is jon jones is the most overrated fighter in the ufc ever since the santos fight he has looked horrible on the feet everytime he fought a tall striker he dominated early LW because most fighters didnt understand how much weight you could actually cut his style worked great against short fighters but everytime he fought a tall striker with decent takedown defense he would have trouble more so recently because yk fighters get better every year he looked slow against stipe and gane looked easily pressured by reyes, santos, ovince, and gustafsson also should be discarded from the GOAT convo because of PED usage GOATS dont cheat

1. Carlos prates is really overrated and will get fraud checked by anyone with decent wrestling, magny was giving him trouble w his wrestling. Fighting nerds as a whole are slightly overrated 1. Farid basharat is criminally underrated, I think this is partly due to him and his brothers inactivity as well as his brother javids loss (ppl confuse them) but farids last opponent missed weight by TEN pounds and farid ended up beating him at a catchweight featherweight bout when he originally made weight 3. Nah you can have a jab and teep masterclass as long as you are also defensively sound. Like sean did have a masterclass over izzy with defence, and he can do that vs ddp if his reflexes are sharp. He said long before he fought ddp that he doesn t watch fights, but before costa he changed that, so i m expecting more rigorous training from sean. On the paddy vs green comment, in his analysis of the fight, paddy said that the leg kicks he threw were what forced green to shoot in, terrible decision of course, but it couldn t be helped. In my comment i said he doesn t have the wrestling to force it down on the mat, vs green he did it with striking, but idk if that s gonna work vs other contenders, lad😂
