They don't sound like Russian. There are 5-6 Slavic languages that sound similar, others are Turkic, Mongolic, Uralic, Caucasian. You just don't speak any of those, so they sound the same)

Because of the accent...I was once watching this language comparison video on Celtic Languages, when it came to Breton, a Celtic language spoken in France, it sounded totally like French to my ears. The accent was so prominent. The first group she sang in are spoken in Russian Federation and although they are different languages, the effect of Russian on these languages makes one think that they sound like Russian, especially when the singer herself is a Russian native with her own accent. I cannot speak these languages, but some of them belong to the same family with my language, Turkish. Even though I don't speak them, I notice they are Turkic languages.

Alice has covers of famous songs of the former peoples of the USSR, there are in French, English, Arabic. it´s easy to do this it´s like learning a song a verse. you dont have to understand it to sing it. i can also sing hebrew it´s a jewish song as far as i remember but idk what i am singing. we use that song for singing practice. and this is just the same verse over and over like a children song so it´s easy to earn if you have the time.
