@@louieo.blevinsmusic2011 I didn't see anything meh about that Alabama performance. 15 of 31 from 3 is the best shooting performance of the season. They couldn't stop Hubbard but I didn't think it was a lack of effort.

I think Taylor's takeaways are correct. The emergence of Mo Dioubate and Chris Youngblood rounding into form give Alabama a toughness they haven't had. Oats now has a combination of players that allow him to play more situational lineups. If they need a late stop, a lineup of Omoruyi, Nelson, Dioubate, Youngblood and Philon is as big, physical and athletic as just about anybody. And they can play an offensive lineup with Nelson at the 5, Reid or Dioubate at the 4 and three elite 3 point shooters with Sears, Youngblood and Holloway. Now if Oats can just get Jarin Stevenson to get his feet planted and his shoulders squared up when he's trying to score around the basket instead of going too quickly and just flipping it up there.

I don't know why being a fan of Alabama or Auburn prevents anybody from acknowledging the other when they deserve it. I'm an Alabama grad but I like to see great ball games whether Alabama is involved or not ,and it doesn't pain me to say everybody in the SEC is trying to get to the level Auburn has been at this season so far.
