The hidden ones was their original name, in the creation of the brotherhood this is shown in the game Asassin's Creed Origins, they are called like that, the name came to change to Assassins I think centuries later!

The Assassins started out as the Hidden Ones. Origins explains this. They didn't become the Assassins until the 10th or 11th century. Mirage is set in the 9th century.

The Creature which u saw in the end is called to be Djin by creative director Sara bouelio in the interview (we have no idea what is it). The eagle thing u told is used in new games where you use the eagle to mark resources and tag enemies...cause in new games there is no mini map in the down corner...but a horizontal bar like batman games in the upper portion of screen.. This game is set earlier to Altair AC1. That's why in that era They were known as Hidden one..cause the word Hasshashin/assassin came later.... This trailer is inspired from aC 1's masyaf and in the later part of the game is inspired from aC 2 cinematic trailer... This game will follow the formula of older AC games..(same as AC ezio trilogy and altair saga).

Yes hidden ones because actually at the beginning of ac like origins. They werent called Assassins they were called “hidden ones”. There was no term back then.

The ezio game actually starts with the second series. The first game is with Altair in 2007! It’s so much more different. I remember playing it in 6th grade and eventually got stuck since it was a bit difficult. After six months I decided to go back and finally got past it. It was literally the last mission haha I much more prefer assassins creed 2 with ezio. That counter button in the series was phenomenal. Before that you had to parry and break their defense, especially the heavily armored guys in the first game. It gave me trouble at times

Doesn't matter what they go back to unless they remove the worthless grinding. Assasins creed used to be insanely good because you could literally go most places and kill most people and do ANY quests/missions without having to really grind for levels and gear. That's why the recent games have been horrid and no one likes them. Has nothing to do with the setting and the "weird" stuff. Most people genuinely hated the recent games because of how monetized and grindy they were. They are treating Assasins creed like some live service game. Doesn't matter how good this game looks or feels if it's still grindy or has tons of microtransactions to make the grind not as bad. Ubisoft in GENERAL is widely hated these days for that exact reason. On top of trying to push NFT's onto games. It's why most people don't even give Ubisoft games a try anymore. They know it comes with tons of micros and grinding for a single player experience. Sure, you could just cheat with WeMod so you can skip the annoying grinding but that shouldn't be needed just to enjoy a game. They literally FORCE you to do side missions in order to level far enough for certain things. They aren't "side missions" if they are forced in order to level up. I used to LOVE Assasins creed games but Ubisoft as a whole has gone down the tubes and the AC games have turned into massive grind fests JUST to hit the next part of the story. They used to be grindy as hell ONLY IF you wanted all the secrets and lore. Not just for a casual playthrough.
