it’s crazy to me that they went the route they did with the sound, i felt personally their last album was their sound fr. i loved that album. sadly i haven’t come to like their new album except this new song which sucks cuz they’re my favorite band 😭

They are still a very young band, just give them some space and i'm sure they'll move closer to their previous album in sound again. I had the same reaction when the album came out, it was actually the only album i have ever pre-ordered cause i was that existed and i while i definitely still see the enormous amount of skill and talent put into the album, it mostly wasn't for me and that sucks but i'm glad i still supported the band cause these guys are good dudes and deserve success and to also explore their different influences.

@@daltonevans3412 for sure. i’ve recently been trying to listen to the album again with an open mind and i have found some tracks that i very much enjoy. being on metaltok on tiktok helps as well, since that’s all i see on my for you page is bad omens lol. they’re still my favorite band, no doubt. also just have to remember that a band can’t keep their sound the same for years. for example, metallica changed their sound a few times and there are many people who didn’t like those new sounds. i’m sure in years to come i’ll enjoy the album a lot more

I found their older songs pretty mediocre. Their latest album is top notch, All the songs are too good.
