I don't know man. Almost all of the old prog bands that I liked, (Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd..etc.), they seemed to me to be all about taking you different directions, both musically and emotionally. The thing is, they would take ten minutes or longer to convey different emotions and musical directions. Band-Maid has taken lately to do the same thing in three minutes. It is remarkable to attempt it, but to make it sound great, start to finish is special. Just count the changes in this one and note the superior transitions, just killer.

One of my most played song and Miku and Saiki must love it too since they used it for the intro to their weekly radio show they used to have called Band-Maid Nippon.

Your comment made me think, Gary. No other person, place or event has been at front of mind more than Band-Maid has since the day I first saw them on YT in 2014. Their music and character has made a serious impact on me. But it's been a positive, healthy impact. So I'm ok with it. I wonder if they truly know of this kind of influence they have on people?

"You will forget about me someday" No, no I won't. 3:32 So Kanami thought, for the next 10 seconds Saiki will be singing superfast over Akane's drum beat while MISA gets slappy. And it works.

Including this song, you can watch on BAND-MAID PRIME for each instrumental performance of the 4 members. (pull and head angle) You need to pay a month if you watch the videos, but you can search for thumbnails for free. They are very interesting. I think it's worth paying for.

I LOVE this song - catchy and amazing drums and bass sections and also complex and progy, lots of change ups.. This song doesn't often get called out to react to but its a banger.

"You will forget about me someday" ... I just hope the ladies know that by now they have pretty much ensured that this will never happen!!! 🙏🏻 For me and my ears, one of the (maybe THE) most fun tracks of this album. The 'chaos section', with the solo that follows and the half-time feel in the last third where Saiki just shines brighter for me than so many times already before... And even though you could make several songs out of the individual parts, it just fits together so damn well! As you say, their songwriting is indescribably great. 🔥🤘🏻 ___________________ 「 _"完璧なんてありえない" / Perfection? No one gets there._ 」 --- from *BAND-MAID* 'Warning' 🕊

Well that was some awesome ear candy.....The rhythm section was tight!! Sick Riff.....I'll be humming that for quite a few days. Exceptional vocals, I would LOVE to see a video with Miku and Saiki cutting these tracks.....they work so well together on this album. That one vocal section "You Will..Forget..About Me..Someday" was as fun as "Manners" Uh-Uh-Uh-Uh-Uh-Uh-Uh_Uh....very cool.
