Fun fact. According to Malukah this is the hardest song she has performed and it's the most difficult Call of Duty zombies song to perform live. She regularly sings her songs on stream and occasionally busts out always running as a treat. I think she's only done it twice though due to its difficulty and the chat always goes wild for it. According to Elena, her hardest song was coming home. The amount of screaming in it damaged her voice and she couldn't record for the first few Black Ops 2 maps resulting in Clark being brought in. I'm not sure if Clark has ever said what song was his hardest but if I had to guess I would say dead ended. And I'm pretty sure Kevin assumed pareidolia would be the hardest song but Elena got it first try after he told her it would take a million.

Loved your interpretation of the song, especially about the dissociation part. I listened to it a lot of times and never occured to me but now I'm sure that's why I relate to it so much (I live with dpdr disorder)

I've heard about that derealization thing before, sounds so weird to someone who doesn't have it! Take care of yourself man! But can definitely see the relatability!

I just love malukah's voice so much, especially in this song. I really liked and can relate to your interpretation/explanation of the lyrics, being avoidant for most of my life as well. I appreciate this, one of my favorites from you guys, this one's a hard hitter for sure.

I loved your take on everything! For some added context, the level this is from is an old underground western town that served as the setting for a finale for one of the storylines which featured a very grim moment where you actually “time travel” on the map and have to find your own character’s corpse. So not only is there what you guys were talking about in terms of what we are running from but also there’s the running from a grim, seemingly inevitable fate. Again love the commentary, I think my favorite commentary you guys have given. Dead Flowers is a good one to go to after this, it’s I think the last Maluka vocals one you guys are missing

Wow. "I'm running from my origins" the next map they made after this was called "Origins" and it featured the song yall reacted to: Archangel!

I think the only Kevin zombies songs left for y'all are Dead Flowers, Shockwave, and Lost. The first two being a couple of my favorites, though Dead Flowers is a particularly interesting one to me. Many people say it sounded weird the first time they heard it and I'm actually the same. But it has a way of growing on you each time you listen, which either shows the genius in it or it's a fantastic coincidence considering the theme of it.

I've always loved this song cause it reminds me of some of the silent hill songs Specifically "hell frozen rain" from silent hill shattered memories and "one more soul to the call" from silent hill homecoming both songs done by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn Which i highly recommend aswell
