The Cincy Vamps is my band and we performed live quite a bit before Covid. During Covid we did a few collabs then our original drummer was hired by Geoff Tate. We haven't performed live post Covid, but I've kept the collabs coming. Mostly I just do my solo act these days in between being a college professor. The keyboardist and 2nd guitarist were members of the performing band. The bassist is Norman Voss from Bret Michaels Band, Drummer is Kalonica Nicx (I had been following her drumming for a while). Melody and I have performed together several times in Sabbath Knights with Vinny Appice and I have sat in with LILIAC at a couple live shows. So, to not create any confusion Melody hasn't left LILIAC or joined Cincinnati Vampires. We're just having some fun! Yes, I really play slide with a beer bottle! HA! Hi @DrOMEB - Thank you for the history of your band. I find it interesting that there are so many new original groups, and they have members that do one or two off's with other artists. It makes it fun to watch these different concoctions perform incredible music. I will check out the link and react to it. Stargazer was an awesome take on the song. Loved hearig from you! Hello Todd. Took me awhile to get to you. When this came out it was a pleasant surprise. Yes, in my growing up we called it Hard Rock. Metal term came very late 70s to 80s. It's hard to believe that this was released in 1976. The year I graduated from high school and started college studying clasical music. Puts me back. I think you reacted to Country Girl with Vinny Appice Sabbath Knights show. Guitar was Dr OMEB. I've loved him since then. I've loved Stormin Norman ever since he wore a Liliac shirt while performing with Brett Michael's. Plus he has a good soul. All the others were solid. The little one on drums I loved her energy. If you go to her KZbin channel, I love what she says...she's learning and describes her style. As for MeloDia. No one gives the love and Respect to RJD as she does. All the DIO moves. And holding those power notes with a very slow wide vibrato. It's more prevalent now as she grows. Liked your reaction. Sometimes wishes come true. I have championed Liliac for close to 5 years. Wishing they would get close. It happened. Liliac in Spokane! I bought my tickets and Meet and Greets. I'll be the Oldman embarrassing my wife in the crowd. Lol Only been married since 1979.
