My favorite philosophy is Advaita Vedānta which is basically that literally everything is Brahman and that we’re never separate from it. It’s only our ignorance that blocks us from understanding it. They believe every being including gods are just manifestations of Brahman

29:00 No, In Sanatan Dharm there no evidence of Caste system it is called Varn Vyavastha this is totally different from caste system in varn vyavastha means every person choose their varn according to his work for example:- In Hospital is running by Doctor, Nurse, Compounder and patient Doctor duty is to treatment patient, Nurse duty is Take care of patients, compounder duty is to take patient to his place that's how a hospital works same varn vyavastha And there is also no proof of sacrifice animals because our text says every living being on earth have right to live peacefully

I would kinda disagree with you there about different perceptions and needing a guru. Vedas, yes, they're complicated and a lot left to perception and questions, that's when the upanishads were written, and when they were getting hard to understand, the puranas came along to explain everything. Also the Bhagvat Geeta mostly summarizes everything in a manner that you don't need a guru to explain it to you. Why gurus/Brahmins existed was the sole purpose of studying all these texts and for the common man to focus on the day-to-day tasks. So essentially Gurus/Brahmins are walking-talking encyclopaedias of knowledge and wisdom of all these texts.

Manusmriti doesn't restricts movement among caste as caste is portugese word. It tells that Bhramins(scholars not priests) are No1 bec of knowledge and not birth. People restricted it culturually (not in Sanatan= Hindu Buddhist Jain) otherwise everyone would become warrior or scholar then how would society function without shudras and vashyas

DHARMA in its essence is to do the right thing, if you're in a dilema of what to do, you should follow what the right thing is no matter how unpleasant, but some will make selfish choices. So when the video says "tip the balance of Dharma" it means too many people are going against what the right to do is, too many people are making selfish choices. That's when an Avatar comes along to set the balance right and /or a tital destruction occurs.

I understand justin's frustration here's how i would put it- actually moksha is a link between the self (individual) and supreme self (god).. it is perceived that the self (individual) is transitory and prone to cycle of dissolution… the nature of the supreme self (god) is contemplated to be absolute, unchanging and eternal (not prone to creation and cycle of dissolution)… moksha is the state of transcending from the state of self (individual) to the supreme self (god)… since in reality we consider anything that is transitory and impermanent to be illusive or momentary so in this respect the perceived form as the self (individual) is not the original nature… by contemplating on supreme self (god) one realizes that one's original nature is That supreme self (god).. this transcedence from the self(individual) to original nature as That supreme self (god) is referred to as moksha why are we here in the first place you ask? to enjoy the state of momentariness as self (individual) and attain the blissful state of everlastingness as supreme self (god). Hope i spoke some sense 😅 ❤😁

17:16 I think you misunderstood a bit because of the video. It is not that life is soo bad we have to get out of living. They basically say that everything is an illusion to sort of keep you in the clouds and not let you see the real truth. To see through this illusion is the goal. There is the "Real" truth beyond the actual "life" that could be attained while living. If achieved you will be in bliss. Although we are trying to define happiness/bliss with human words, they say it is beyond what we could describe, like dreams or odd out-of-this-world experiences. So, to achieve that we have to look beyond "physical" entities to get to Brahman.

Caste is different from jathi which is not a "flaw". Jathi and Varna ≠ Caste. The term jathi (often mistranslated as 'caste') is best understood in the sense of a set, as in mathematics or a genre in literature. It applies to non-human entities as well - for example, the jathi of trees, jati of rational numbers, jathi of verbs, and so on. In the human context, a nation is a jathi, a given religious group is a jathi, doctors/engineers are a jathi, men/women a jathi, gay people are a jathi, the military is a jathi, the employees of a given company are a jathi, etc. Similarly, the word 'varna' means 'color'. Varna also refers to the various personalities and qualities of people. An individual's varna is based on past karma (NOT BIRTH) which shapes gunas, the latter being individual qualities or tendencies.

Brahma/Vishnu/Shiva are cosmic allegories for the same Brahman. Their wives Shakhti/Lakshmi/Saraswathi are also cosmic allegories for intelligent energy or Prakriti. Husband and wife cannot exist without each other. So, they always exist together for the perpetual duality cycles of intelligent energy (in the conscious field provided by the husband). So, the 3 gunas manifest. Rajas (Brahma + Saraswathi). Sathvik (Vishnu + Lakshmi) and Tamas (Shiva + Shakthi). e.g. Manifestation of the universe or summer (BRAHMA + SARASWATHI) sustain the universe or spring (Vishnu + Lakshmi) concealment of the universe or winter (Shiva + Shakthi). Point is yin/yang duality or RAJAS/TAMAS duality that happens in the conscious field of Brahman is sustained by Sathvik guna or dharma

As in some comments Moksha is not another version of heaven. in Hinduism, heaven exists in a separate realm within a different cosmos or universe. If your good karma outweighs your sins, you may be reborn in a luxurious place called heaven to enjoy the fruits of the karma, but this does not grant you Moksha. True liberation comes when you realize that both life's difficulties(born in earth and lower universes) and its pleasures (heaven) are not the ultimate purpose. By practicing meditation or other spiritual methods and uncovering reality, you attain Moksha-a state where there is no birth or death, merging your soul with the ultimate reality, Brahman. Merely indulging in heavenly pleasures depletes your good karma only, determining your subsequent life based on the remaining merits and any accrued sins in heaven. It's akin to earning money, spending it all, and ending up impoverished once more. Beyond heaven, there exist various places in the universe (potentially spanning multiple universes) where your soul is placed according to your remaining karma. If your karma is exceptionally positive, you might be placed in higher realms like the universe of Demigods, where you could lead a life as a demigod (or to serve work with demigods) or life in even in a Star universe etc... The process is intricate, resembling an algorithm that dictates our next life. There's even a chance of being reincarnated as a lesser being (like a frog or animal which can not have knowledge to seek the truth, just born experience the life and die) as punishment, enduring numerous lifetimes before regaining human existence-a life form with the capacity to seek truth and attain Moksha. Wasting a human life might set you back for thousands of lifetimes before you get another opportunity. this is too large concept :)

Which religion has this story: An ancient man named ____am and his wife S____ and their companion L_____ are banished from their home. They run into a foreign king ______ who kidnaps the wife before he is ultimately destroyed and the man and wife live together till they die. Based on this video you might say: Ram, Sita, Lakshman, and Ravan so it has to be Hinduism. (I am Hindu so I agree.) That is correct but also: Abraham, Sarah, Lot, and Abimelech; so it could also be Abrahamic religions. Also every religion (including Hinduism) has the story of the great flood, for Hindus its: Matsya Avatar and Manu (google it). My belief is nobody has the whole picture. We are all grasping at straws for defining God, but there is God... no one knows who he is.
