@@MrBda241 Word of advice, Jiraiya's ability in Genjutsu is not enough to manipulate one's body, only trap their soul and take it away from their body. You need precise chakra control in order to pull that off, and Jiraiya didn't have that. Therefore, Roshi could not stop cold turkey when Jiraiya hit him with the Toad Confrontation Chant.

So what happened was Roshi was still moving when he was under Jiraya’s mind snare thing, so while Jiraya was busy trapping Roshi’s mind, Roshi was carried forward and the momentum tore Jiraya in two, killing him before he could truly attack Roshi

Thanos may be able to beat the Avengers, but none of them have the power of Superman, the same power that Darkseid has beaten over and over. But the Infinity Gauntlet vs the Anti-Life equation makes this anyone's guess. I'd still give it to Darkseid there, seeing as his Omega Beams could probably destroy it... hell, it's been destroyed before. Although I have to say I am rooting for Thanos, but Darkseid is a lot more powerful than people give him credit for.

@@HeadGodoftheGodCouncil How so? If we're going with Superman's strongest feats, his speed and strength far outclass Thor. He's fast enough to keep up with the Flash, for instance. No one Thanos has fought can keep up with that speed, yet Darkseid has time and time again, plus his Omega Beams are way more powerful than anything Thanos can deliver on his own. Maybe the Gauntlet can, but on his own, God no. Thor is incredibly powerful, but you are downplaying Superman to an absurd degree here. None of the Avengers in their base form could do battle with Darkseid, not by a long shot. Maybe Rune King Thor or Immortal Hulk, but no one else. Superman can tank the power of planets cracking together on top of him with ease, withstand being thrown into the Earth from orbit hard enough to cause a nuclear winter, fast enough to casually fly at speeds exponentially FTL, move planets by himself, sometimes with a single hand, hold a black hole, and WAY more. The fact that Darkseid can top all that, almost contemptuously at some points, says a LOT about him. Sorry if I look like I'm being too aggressive here, I want to keep this friendly :) . My point is that more times than not, Darkseid would win. But both of these people are so damn powerful that it would probably come down to who would win a greater percentage of the time, the way they did with Fate vs Strange.
