Baekhyun is the best vocalist in exo imo, that's why he's my ultimate bias ❤️ I love how he can adapt his voice to any genre of songs (jazz, ballads, rock, r&b) most versatile voice you'll ever find. His falsettos and high notes and amazing but so is how low register. and He's such a stable singer too, he never runs out of breath in performances. a complete package 🥰

Baekhyun started early with vocal and piano lessons, he had as teacher a famous korean rock singer . He auditioned in the same time with Chen, both of them were good singers from the beginning. He had no clue about dancing but, because he is a fast learner he managed to learn choreography in a short time, allowing him to debute so fast. It wasn't easy, he had to change his vocal technique and learn new breathing techniques, necessary for a singer-dancer. To mention that the group had first a name and a concept, after that, the company started to select potential members to fit to the group . Lee Sooman, the founder of SM Entertainment was personally at the selection and, after he saw Baekhyun singing and observed his bright personality, he chose him to be in the new group (EXO) and gave him the superpower of light ,according to the group concept. He is, alongside with Chanyeol, the mood maker of the group, he lives to entertain the others and he can't be happy without his fans love . Yes, he is a gem !!

And Light is definitely the perfect superpower for him! I think the quick training on dancing was also helped by the fact that he did Hapkido for so many years. Even though martial arts is not the same as training in dance, it still develops coordination, a sense of your body position in space, and loads of other skills.

Yep, he's in a military, but we are near to welcome him back. His return date is 2023.02.05. And Chanyeol will be back next month, on 28th. The only ones left to serve are Kai and Sehun and EXO will be done with military.

His vocal improvement before going to the military is insane. he is the only male idol who can hit C6 (a female note) in his song "All I Got". Most of his solo songs are r&b but he is really versatile and have different genre of songs like ballad, rock, jazz, pop, etc...

I absolutely understand what you were saying about ballads. I never cared for ballads like at all, before I got into EXO. I didn't even listen to them much in the beginning of my EXO journey, but as I got more into watching reactions and listening to their music without skipping any tracks, I quickly realized that I really LOVE EXO's ballads. They have the voices to really make the ballads "speak" and I think that is why they resonate with so many people, even if they don't normally like slow songs.

EXO has 3 main vocalists. Tho all members can sing well, these 3 are the best in their generation. For me the best singers. Not only bec of their technique but also on how they interpret songs. They can make you cry on a ballad without even knowing what their saying. And eventhough they are great soloists, they are able to sings together perfectly without overpowering each other. For me thats very important. So proud to stan EXO. KYUNGSOO is my ult bias. Though all the members take turns in wrecking me. Baekhyun is ult wrecker.

I think rn it's safe to say that exo is idol of idols. Many idols are baekhyun's wannabe in terms of vocals (not saying that suho, chen, umin, kyungsoo aren't that good) but statistically speaking, it's baekhyun. In terms of dancing, obviously it's Kai. As for Lay, many Chinese idols wants to be him (I mean, who wouldn't?). They even conquered the acting area!! Kyungsoo even called no.1 idol-actor by critics Not to mention, all of them are ambassadors. Baekhyun can play the piano, Suho play the guitar, Chanyeol and Lay can play multiple instruments (LOEY was in a band in high school)(Lay can even play the Chinese flute). KAI (the Gucci King) and Sehun aced in modelling, too. I can list them all,there's too many😂

I'd love to see him do musical theater like Park Hyo Shin. He's that well rounded that I think he'd do well there. If he ever does one with PHS, I'll probably book a flight even alone. But yeah, I'd listen to anything this man has to sing. He really knows how to use his voice and also has a very good instrument. You really need to react to his solo stuff though. Baekhyun trained for only 8 months. His voice was always incredible and he's an amazing dancer too! Fun fact: Baekhyun once went with his school friends to a karaoke and only then he realized that not all people can sing vibrato, and in general that his voice is outstanding 😉

So EXO has 3 main vocals Chen- The best (not one of the best) have the best technique in 3rd gen kpop(4th gen's are weak in vocal so he still wear the crown) , he is in top3 vocalist in whole kpop(among every gen) D.O- The best in runs , riff and agility,(you won't see another vocalist as smooth as him) Baekhyun- Chen + D.O , have one of the best technique, still growing each day (though he is in top 3 in 3rd gen yet study vocalization), Have smooth runs and riff , Most versatile(that's why he is my bias) He has the best transition to falsetto to head or chest voice (seemless), have emotion in his voice. Baekhyun and Chen trained only for 4 months(+6 months debut prep) both were competitors but at the end both made it. All most all EXO can play piano (at least all vocal line, main+ lead) , Chanyoel can play anything you can name , Lay can play multiple instruments too.
