​@@BigzampanoXXL Floor can sing whatever she wants, any genre and style she wants, for me she is the best in singing, and not only for me, Floor is considered the best singer on the planet, this is written by many people in the comments, from all the countries that I saw on the world map. Floor conveys incredible emotions, and can sing incredibly dynamically conveying incredible energy, can sing as fast as rappers and at the same time without losing the melodiousness in every word, she also rap in German while singing, can almost on one breath go from full death metal growl in large-scale, powerful operatic singing. Floor can sing in any language she wants, she sang in many languages with excellent pronunciation. Floor's chest voice is incredibly powerful, she can smoothly, imperceptibly move from her chest voice to her head voice and vice versa, mix them up, she can also mix whatever genres and styles she wants, Floor has incredible artistry, incredible graceful movements, in general, her abilities are endless, they have no boundaries, and it is impossible to write about all of them.

I actually used to know Floor Janson as the singer of the symphonic metal band Nightwisch with such a strong powerful voice. And I was amazed at how wonderfully tender and sweet she can sing. I watched Floor Janson's live concert in Amsterdam, super nice thing. I would highly recommend you, Emerson.

@@tatjana6849 That's their biggest hit ever.😄 My favourite is "Cry with a Smile". I guess I just love depressing songs. If you like prog and want to hear an absolutely gorgeous soprano solo: Dreamflight Live ProgPower USA 2007 Yeah, Floor didn't come to Nightwish from nowhere. Tuomas knew her since 2002 when AF and Nightwish shared the stage at some gig in the Netherlands. There are many good songs, but it depends on what style of music you prefer. Early After Forever is similar to Epica (same founder, Mark Jansen - no relation to Floor) and much heavier than Nightwish (death metal legacy, after all). Since Mark's departure in 2002, Floor started writing ALL the lyrics and partially the music. The last two albums have very prominent progressive metal influence - mainly due to Joost van den Broek, the keyboardist. The band disbanded in 2009, unfortunately. Floor formed her own band, ReVamp, the same year. They only released two albums before calling it quits in 2016 due to Floor's commitment to Nightwish. Another one of Floor's projects is called Northward. It's some good old school rock. She has also worked with Ayreon as a guest vocalist.

@@hamohamo8270 А почему нет? :) Это не официальная информация. Это моё впечатление, основанное на том что я знаю о его работе в качестве продюсера и композитора (а знаю я достаточно). Стиль группы заметно сдвинулся в сторону прога сразу после ухода Марка, но он был (и остался) довольно хаотичным. Сандер Хомманс как композитор меня не впечатляет абсолютно. Его двумя наибольшими "заслугами" были и остаются изгнание Марка и финальный распад группы. Синтезаторные и оркестровые партии на двух последних альбомах очень хороши, и в целом композиции звучат более... вменяемо (по мерка прога, естественно - с классической точки зрения это полный хаос :) Для меня вполне очевидно чья это работа. After Forever могли бы стать одной из величайших групп нашего времени, если бы не... В целом, я считаю что музыка AF как она есть весьма далека от того что Флор Янсен заслуживала. Nightwish с этой точки зрения лучше, но ей там особо не дают петь. В AF она имела полную свободу действий, и частично сама писала музыку, в Nightwish она просто инструмент - наиболее ценный, но инструмент. До сих пор это её полностью устраивало, но... мне интересно как будут развиваться события после выхода их следующего альбома, от которого лично я не жду ничего особенного.

Such a beautiful performance. In the duets episode of this series she did this song again with the bearded guy on the couch, Tim Akkerman. It is a more rock version and Tim's voice reminds me of that of Bruce Springsteen. Imho much better than Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper did!
