Rob has a very angelic voice in my opinion. The coreographery has been with them since The Sing Off. They had to actually put the black sticky tiles on themselves. But you can see all the things that happen on the From the Vault series. Enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.

Dancing is not their strong suit. I believe they performed this live at a few shows and then stopped I'm not sure why maybe the dancing went wrong somewhere. But it sure was cool in the video and their vocals are amazing.

I love Chance's warm tambour voice. He has a sincerity in his voice that just makes you want to curl up in his arms and listen to him sing. I love all their voices but each one has a different reason, but in this song you really get to hear Chance. These guys are EPIC!!

Love their spin on this song; as always they all sound incredible. Rob and Chance really shine with their respective verses - I'm always happy when they get their turn in the spotlight. Re Austin - I think he was referring to his thick southern accent! If you haven't already done them, Rob is fantastic in Why Not and Catch Me If You Can (and so many others)! Home Free never disappoints!

Keith Urban had asked them multiple times to do a cover from what I understand because he wanted to hear how they would put their spin on it and he was very happy with the results, as is everyone else, except maybe the guys for having to learn the choreography!

One of my favorites! What a surprise and happy shock it was when we first heard this one and saw them do this awesome old-school doo-wop style to Keith's country version. Wow the guys and their choreographer are incredible! They try just about anything and we are the ones who are blessed by them! Have you done Meant to Be -- fun and cool and humor with it also. Home Free does a fabulous job of this Keith Urban song. It is done in the Motown doo-wop style. Reminds me of the Temptations with all the synchronized moves. And you can hear Tim's bass rumbling in the background. Love these guys. They are so talented.

Austin, in an interview, said he and Sebby worked up something for the guys to listen to, and (& everyone else) thought he'd probably sing lead, until... they heard Rob sing it. No-brainer who should be lead! (BTW Austin didn't seem perturbed about Rob singing lead. The guys serve the song, not their egos.)

I love this! It’s a kind of bluesy/jazzy side of Rob and I loved all the dance in moves the boys did. Chance sounded great too. Loved Tim’s low notes. Good one!😍

Thank you so much for another wonderful reaction! Austin was fine, they have talked about how difficult Austin was to understand due to his Georgian accent when he first joined the group and he spoke about how he had to loose his accent when he was in musical theatre productions in college. Tim told him it didn’t work! 🤣I believe that was what he was referring to.

Their From the Vault episode 10, is a really good BTS of them filming this video. And I seem to remember from a Patreon Q&A to the question “how do they pick who’s the lead?” that they might all do a version of the song. But for one record, Rob did his first, and well… I took that to mean Rob really can sing anything. And why would they give the lead to anyone else. 😂 Maybe that was the same session Rob said he doesn’t like doing percussion.

Personally I believe it was a JAB @ Tom Cruise because Nicole Kidman and Tom had a relationship that didn't work out. Maria, I love Tim's voice but really this song is really good but they just released Skull and Bones which was a song created for a game. Listen/react to the live version..IT is awesome..you get to hear Tim's beautiful bass voice and Chance's..awesome!

The abilities they all have to 'change' their voices is remarkable. Sometimes it is range, sometimes it is timbre, just amazing. Since the audio was recorded separately, it is possible that Austin was not well the day they did the video. There is a "From the Vault" for this one, but I don't recall him sounding hoarse that day. Of course, by the end of the day, with having to sing the song repeatedly - and the horsing around they do - he may have simply worn out his voice that day.

@@barbarakennedy2667 I was only talking about Austin's voice in the wrap up at the end. Rob being lead for this song is sort of a no-brainer, I think. His voice is exactly what this arrangement needed. And I'm sure that is what the entire group thought.
