Home Free has covered two songs that have never failed to bring me to tears: Brothers in Arms and Vincent. Two songs I will never tire of listening to.

I always loved Don McLean’s song Vincent but adding Home Free in mix just made it better😊 Adam B used to sub for one of HF’s tenors when Home Free first started and he was also a member of Chris Rupp’s group 7th ave. They have a new video coming out next week don’t know what it is yet but looks fun.

I’ve missed you! Thanks for the double feature. I love Vincent. Heard it a lot growing up. It’s a sad life Vincent had and such a beautiful song that Don wrote. He still sounds great for 78! Love HF with him…goodness they’re good. Thought the new Adam fit right in. He has a really nice voice. It’s a great song by Bonnie Raitt. Good one DS!!

I have loved "Vincent" since it premiered and I think adding Home Free's voices to the song just makes it so much harder not to cry, so I'm right there with you.

I love Home Free and their new addition Adam Bastien. They sound great. Vincent is such a beautiful song, you can’t help it but cry. I do every time I hear it. Stay as sweet as you are. Much love. 🦋🎵❤️🦋

Omg I thought I was a crazy man for crying to don (and now home free) since the 70's. Your tears are so precious, I've felt them same about great music for 67 years! But listen to American pie with Don and home free! Peace from Northern Michigan!

Happy to see you doing a double feature. My favorite song by Don McLean, i've always loved this song. And a look at the new line up in Home Free. I always cry when I listen to Vincent. Such a great collaboration. The guys seem to be so happy and invigorated during Something to Talk About. Such big smiles anf laughter. Love it. Not completely sure but I think the guy on the sofa may be Adam's husband.

I thought it would have been neat if instead of the newscaster lady they'd had Jerome as the newscaster (pretty sure he'd look jes' fine in a suit), but maybe that's too much change at once (it scares some people, I gather).

I love that they chose to just have the guitar without additional percussion. It adds impact to the song. You can also watch the shifting paintings behind them before they're put into a painting themselves.. This is one of Rob's favorite songs and he certainly rose to the occasion. It's on my daily playlist. Just be you. I always enjoy your reactions.

I love that in the outro, two Adams (Chance and Rupp) were holding those two signs in the back. Bastien is a great fit, for good reason, he is not a stranger to them. I look forward to much more.

Thanks for the double feature. Vincent is such a great song by Don McLean! He originally did it in 1972. What a great remake with Home Free! Rob's voice is perfect for this song. Such a beautiful tribute to the sad life of the painter Vincent Van Gogh. He suffered from depression & committed suicide. He never saw any success during his life. But now his paintings are worth millions of dollars. Home Free did a great cover of one of my favorite Bonnie Raitt songs. Bastien's voice was perfect for the lead. Everyone sounded awesome in the background vocals, Rob with his bluesy sound, Tim's bass & Adam's vocal percussion. Looking forward to more of the new songs with the newest member.

One song brings tears and the next smiles and giggles of joy. Great two songs to come back to Home Free with. Just shows their versatility. Always enjoy your reactions. On a side note as to your covering the songs popular in the 50's and 60's; I was born in 1951 so you are talking my generation. I grew up with that music and actually with some from the 40's due to my parents and older brother. Great fun music.

You definitely watched these in the right order. Vincent is so gorgeous. It's kind of amazing that Don selected Home Free to sing with him on the re-recordings of both of his most iconic songs. They also backed him on the title track of his latest album, American Boys. There's a music only video on Don's YT channel. It's a bop. And, of course, the other song (one of my Bonnie Raitt favorites) was a perfect introduction to Bastien's voice and personality. Can't wait to see what's next.

I love your Home Free double features! 2 great videos (of course,they’re all great from Home Free). Love your big old heart, Ashley! You’re so sweet and tender-hearted. I almost always get choked up on the last verse of Rob & Austin together. I get chills every time. Love the new guy in “Something To Talk About”! He’s going to be amazing with Home Free. He was actually part of the group for awhile pre-Sing Off. His voice is awesome! I’ve always loved Bonnie Rait’s version. It’s a great intro song for Bastien!

Adam Bastien picked this song. He did an absolutely amazing job with it. I don't know if you know that Bastien has been with Home Free in the past. He also was in Chris Rupp's group 7th Ave. Which is where I feel in love with him. I've missed seeing you more often than I do know. I always enjoy watching your reactions to these guys. You wear your heart on your sleeve.

I also have a suggestion for your "Something New" series. SIMPLY THE BEST by TOMMY JOHANSSON. He does a terrific metal version. FYI: Bonnie Tyler first did this song. It was originally titled THE BEST. Years later, Tina Turner changed the title to Simply the Best.
