This is a cover, the only cover he did in Singer 2020, one of the very rare love songs Hua sings, it’s a tribute to his ex. His best love songs to me are Love of Yesterday and The Rampage, if you want to check them, Love of Yesterday at his 2016 concert is absolutely beautiful, and Rampage at a Festival, both are on Hua Chenyu English Subs YT channel with subs ❤️

Hi Emerson. No, this isn't about the pandemic. HuaHua sang this song of regret to his ex-girlfriend. It says that he has regrets, that he is happy that she is happy but he regrets that her regret has to do with him and that they didn't wait for them. It's very sad, and he didn't write it. He looked straight at the camera and sang it to her. It was sad to see, but he seemed to get it out of his system--at least for the moment. Thanks for doing this. You are great.

This song is about remembering the past, remembering things that have passed away and never come back. It doesn't say anything about the difficulties because the difficulties need to be dealt with positively. It's only the lost times that need to be remembered.
