Some of the lesser known artists are ones that Von inspired(King Von also gots by V.roy, Von, Grandson, and his legal name DayVon. He was born into a gang war. Caught his first case at 12 years old and grew up in & out of the system. He grew up in a k*ll or be k*lled environment. He was an A/B student and was on the baseball team. His father was k*lled at the skating rink by a sniper rifle by the opposing gang when Von was 11. He grew up witnessing violence and death. Whitey passed on Von’s birthday. He was trying to be better bc he had two kids at the time(they didn’t know the mother was pregnant at the time) and wanted a better life for them. All his proceeds goes to his kids. Von was a protector for his people. He was loved. Even in interviews now his people will still need breaks bc they start to break down. They still post about him. He was their family. The night he went to fight Quando Rondo, it was bc Quandowas talking bad about Von and his people. Von asked him to stop but he didn’t so he told him that the next time he sees him he was going to put hands on him. When he did, Quando’s friend came from behind and shot him multiple times. Autopsy reports show shots were close range bc he had burns and gun power on him. King Von is a rapper from Chicago signed to lil durk, who got killed by Quando rondos friend in self defense. Quando rondo is signed to nba youngboy. That’s why there’s a beef between lil durk and nba youngboy. He was one of the top rappers and people liked him for his story telling and for the fact that he was a real gangster/killer. There are a lot of videos on KZbin breaking down the gang war he was in and alleging the people he killed. For example at the moment there is a trial case going on about the murder of fbg duck another Chicago legend but gang war rival. And it’s alleged that king Von paid the his homies 100k to kill him in broad daylight in front of a Louis Vuitton store in Chicago.

You had the idea of the story correctly. Yes. King Von was in the store and his friend was shot and killed outside while waiting for him. When Von exited the store, the cops had already arrived. The part with the shoes, he tols the music video director he wanted a scene with a room full of tough angry looking people, scars and tattoos on them.. and hed walk around trying to hand them his shoes, which none would want to take. Meaning, they didnt want to go thru the things hes been thru "walk a mile in my shoes."
