It needs listening/ watching 4-5x to understand (this isn't an usual la-la-laa song). 1. Megan: Rich people/ contrast in lifestyle, "beauty", their artificiallity and us, ordinary people on the other side. 2. Washing hands: in Slavic nations it emphasises how the "authorities/governments" "washing hands" or not taking responsibility for the wellbeing of the ordinary people (water washes everything/every dirt from their hand/authorities hands). 3. The song is about position of artists in Serbia. They don’t have health insurance because they usually aren’t registered workers as the top of Serbia don’t really take care about real artists. Like every other living beings artists have to be healthy (here physically) to live and work. So they rely on religion and pray for health because they can’t pay the expensive doctor treatments. It is sad because people here usually choose to do art as a hobby or something next to their “real” job.
