They are close to choosing a new bass player but have not made anything official yet. They did announce a week ago that phase 2 (out of 3) was completed and the second round of candidates were brought in to audition with the band members and that was completed. The final phase was scheduled for August but they seem to be ahead of schedule.

My favourite song... Compose by Haruna when she was in Destrose with Miho and never been played or recorded... It was recorded in LOVEBITES debut LP - LOVEBITES LP and it was in Japanese... In their album Awakening From Abbyss.. Asami re-write the lyrics in English...

Your reactions are better than many because I get to watch two people who love the band nearly as much as me just grinning from ear to ear. This is Haruna’s one and only composition, but she recently said that she wants to do a lot more. So as she did a one woman artillery bombardment on the drums I was thinking that I can’t wait to hear new stuff composed by her. I’m presuming someone will have already said, but they’re selecting for a final audition stage set for some time next month.

The all female performer Japanese festival you're thinking of is Naon no Yaon, run by Keiko Terada & the rest of Show-Ya (godmothers of the female hard rock scene, having originally started back in '81).

I love Lovebites, my favorite band ever at the moment but completely agree...ppl get way too worked up! It doesn't get any better than Lovebites, they are bad asses! Would love them to tour with the big 4 since Slayer retired! They could totally hold their own and show the old guys some new tricks!! Love the reaction A&R!!

Haruna wrote this song in Japanese which Asami later translated to English they have both versions the Japanese version is on the Lovebites EP the English version is on the Awakening from the Abyss album.
