Beste Zangers brought well deserved attention to Floor in her home country, but in return she has brought the attention of Beste Zangers to the rest of the world. There must be several gems like this in previous seasons, and I'm going to be checking them out.

I was also surprised it was uncensored, however, I do know from living in Europe that they don't censor their TV (especially night-time) as stringently as we do here in the States. Very happy you enjoyed it. Have an awesome day!

@@jamescurfman3284 The Netherlands is an EDM country, we have the Best DJs in the world, Metal / Hard Rock is just pushed away by this, Dutch radio DJs just don't play it, so we don't hear it, even though we have the 6 best symphonic metal singers in the world, the people of the Netherlands don't know any of them.

Davina Michelle - the blonde girl next to the host Jan Smit - must be a fan of Eminem. Her career was boosted by Pink when she saw her sing a song of hers (Pink Watches Fan Covers On KZbin | Glamour). Davina is not a rapper but a fan, Marie Fisilier is obviously a fan too. I think her surname is french in origine. Yes he's the host (Jan Smit). The other one is Davina Michelle (KZbin cover artist and now 'real' artist, played as support act of P!nk in the Den Hague show of P!nk this summer...). It's here favourite so that's why Maria choose it.

Not my style of music but anyway quite famous. To be honest if we compare the live versions I prefer her flow on some parts above Marshall´s in other parts she is gasping for air and her (Dutch) accent comes to the surface because she has to spit out so many words her pronunciation starts to falter a bit. In her defense Marshall almost never performs this track solo but uses backup rappers like Denaun Porter to do the final word of a sentence so he can take breaths between verses. During the last tour but I think he always does that he doesn't "sing" during the chorus but raps keywords over his own recorded track. I personally think that ads more grit to the performance but compared to Maria it does make it a lot easier. I however shouldn't compare an opera singer who raps "once in a lifetime" to the "rap god" that is Eminem.

To say, "you prefer her "flow" over Em's in some parts," is a bold statement LOL. I think she did a really good job. Seriously.
