Band members are: Daisuke (Scream/rap vocals), Nao (Drums/vocals), Ryo (Guitar/vocals), Ue (Bass/backing vocals) the guy in the intro and the guy who throws up while stood on the bed with the guitar are the same guy (Ryo) - the whole song is about him losing weight for health reasons and so called fans complaining about it. It's saying he won't stay fat just to please you when it is so bad for his health, and in turn encouraging people to try and lose weight themselves. the fun part about this band is all their songs have such random changes in style, that, and the way they seem to like to poke fun at fans, record labels and whatever else they can think of along the way.

I absolutely loved this reaction. Maximum the hormone is actually the best band to do reaction of in my opinion. Their music is so good, so experimental, so unconventional, so unpredictable. This feeling of something new in the same song, of different styles of music in the same song, of different tempo used in the same song is so fresh. I really love their music. It's my stress reliever group and also the type of songs I listen to when I'm working! I hope you'll do other reactions of their songs.

The "Maximum the Hormone" songs is always about the band himself. In this part two, all the lyrics is about the tough time ryo-kun have when he faces the obligation to lose weight, and how the fans keep torturing him with comments like "the fat Ryo is the best!", So the entirely lyric is about the war "i have to lose weight" vs "fuck i love eat"! When the disco part begins, Nao-chan is talking how "gourmet" is to lose weight and do diets, and in the final ryo speech, ryo is yelling statics from people with bad food costumes and all this stuff Hahahahah. Nice video guys!

As I understand from other comments he has lost a lot of weight for health reasons, attracting negative comments from fans who don’t like the new look. This video is aimed squarely at these fans with the junk food and large people dancing in the video and the bullhorn tirade at the end announcing he lost weight on doctors advice and guess what I will live longer then you etc..

The Guitarist is the fat guy, the video shows how much weight he lost. The song is about the fans ragging them that they liked the fatter version of him better, then the guitarist (''Ryo'') says ''Oh, yeah, well the more you eat you could die, I lost weight and I'm healthier for it, why is this such a concern?!''

@@ペニージョニー 議論はあるだろうが、歌詞の翻訳も添えて発信するかどうかというのは、どちらかといえば、アーティスト側が考えて選択することじゃないかなあ。 その上で、YT上に上がってるサウンドであればなんであれ、リクエストがあればリアクションするという姿勢のリアクターは多い。ドイツ語やスウェーデン語なんかはもちろんだが、今では日本語、ウクライナ語、タガログ語、韓国語、モンゴル語など、メタルやハードロックの曲に載せられている言語は実に多様だから、そうしないと、結果的にかなりのリクエストを切り捨てざるを得なくなる。 まあ気になるようなら、知っている言語や翻訳を用意できる言語で歌われるもののみを対象とする、という方針のリアクターを選んで観るようにすればいいと思う。
