Although I was massively underwhelmed by this appointment, the fairest thing is to give Critchley a chance and see what he can do. He’s obviously got the coaching credentials, but is he a good manager? Time will tell.

It's a pity Critchley hasn't had a full pre-season which would have given him time to coach the team I'm much more encouraged after his press conference and finding out a bit more about his previous clubs If the players are receptive to him and his assistant then we can soon progress and recover our season Saturday is massive and a win would lift the club Upwards and onwards
