What is interesting about this song is that it characterizes a lot of Nutsa’s personality and vocal ability. This has the ethnic dance vibe but it takes you on a journey lyrically into the dramatic ending with emphasis on the violins and her vocal. Very interesting production and I think the choreography will be very strong and artistic. She was great in American Idol and I’m happy she is pursuing Eurovision for her homeland!

@@Omri_RWell, one of my countries (Poland) pulled up a HUGE corruption scandal last year so if Alesia decided to ignore Blanka's song, I would not only accept but appreciate it. If my other country (Germany) sent a song applauding the works of neo-nazi, I would appreciate her not talking about the song. What is happening in Gaza is at "best" Israel passively standing by and allowing a humanitarian catastrophe talk million of lives or at worst an active act of genocide (not that it matters to the people who die there, though). At the same time, they only get their 4th attempt accepted by ESC, the lyrics of their other three attempts violating the rule of no political propaganda. The one they sent still oozes nationalistic pride and self-satisfaction. So yeah, I absolutely understand her position even if it wasn't the one I would personally make. (I personally was more on the fence, and simply wondered by Israel even bothered to participate, to risk such PR nightmare it will definitely turn into. The moment I listened to the song I was turned off immediately.)

Lol the mute got me - thought my audio broke for a second. 😂 Georgia is qualifying in my books. Nutsa is a great preformer. But also, I wished there were more levels in the song - it kind of comes in at 100 and tries to stay there, bridge aside, but I wish they pulled back a bit in the beginning so it can climb to 100 for more excitement. Like they didn't need the choir to come in so early in the song; it literally comes into the background in the prechorus which is super early, rather than maybe waiting for the chorus or even second verse to create a feeling of increasing intensity throughout the song. I don't get ethnic from this other than one line of instrumentation in the dance break which I kind of wished they emphasized it more elsewhere for more ethnic flair. But I do agree it falls in the same category as Albania though it currently has Albania beat. Greece easily beats Georgia on the other hand. I'm pretty sure Armenia will go with a different vibe looking at the artists they selected.

@user-sc9yy8uy9p And music is powerful. Music can also be used as soft power unfortunately. And while I would also like to just enjoy esc without politics, it's unavoidable at this point so, it is better to face it head on and understand rather than stick our heads in the sand, even if it is uncomfortable, and I am saying this without any hate but with sympathy. Perhaps you are not ready to face the whole truth and comprehend why people are reacting this way and feel it is unfair, but when you are ready, use a vpn to bypass censorship if you are in Israel, and look at unbias sources to see how the government is twisting and covering up information and how they manipulate and censor people. Compare and contrast to find the truth. Look at real footage not curated by the government. Try to understand all sides rather than settling for ignorance even though ignorance is bliss. In the meantime, know that people are not against the Israeli people nor support any terrorist group. People are just against the Israeli government's overreach (they have the ability to be more nuanced in their approach like they have done on foreign soil but they choose not to) and people are against their propaganda, their brainwashing, and now their meddling which has unfortunately spilled over into Eurovision with this political song. In the end of the day, we all hope for peace but a political song does not contribute to that goal and its participation is not in good faith. Separate music and politics might've been a more viable argument if the song chosen was so political and full of propaganda. But here we are. So the feelings of anger and disappointment should be directed at KAN and the Israeli government for ultimately putting Israel in this position, and for using people's fear and Hamas as an excuse to do more than just defend, to the point where the international community actually started to pay attention, which is saying something since typically people don't care or bother to look. Hope you and others eventually understand and don't take it personally if you don't have hate in your heart.
