Meghalaya name comes from Sanskrit word Megh which means clouds/rain And alaya means home/abode So it literally means abode of clouds

We have 7 states where you would find all people having small eyes and other 3 states whose half of population bear small eyes. So total 10 states. And Nepal is smaller than our one state. So don't call them Nepalese. We are diverse. North Indian, east indians, north east indians, West Indian, South Indian and people from UTs look different even extreme north Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand people look different from other north Indias... We don't look-alike. At the end we all are Indian. Pakistan is small country that' s why you people look same. Our country is big and diverse. We say Nepalese look like India (north east), Pakistanis look like north Indian and West Indian, Afghans look like extreme north Indian etc.

I'm from Assam. And as they belong to a hilly terrain, people might have this misconception that they won't be able to communicate with you. But almost everyone speaks english there. And apart from these places, there are so many equally and even more beautiful sceneries than these, but ofcourse it's not possible to explore all and show all with equal emphasis. Dawki, Elephant falls are some of them.

Nepali Nepal ke citizens ko kehte hain. Please they are Bhartiya..& they will always be! Btw just a month before I had been to this jaw-dropping beautiful place..monsoons are the Best here! Wadiya ho ya mausam dono ki khubsurati inexplicable hain. People are well educated & humble. Is video mein achhe se Meghalaya ki beauty ko showcase nahi kar paaye hain, samne se iske gigantic waterfalls & lush green hills are mind blowing, trust me!

I am from Rajasthan and I visited this place recently and realy get amazed after visiting there. Once in a life pls people go there with your friends and family. For vegetarians its bit difficult to manage for food coz veg restaurants are limited but overall its a nice place to explore👍
