*I see it as the spark that probably caused his untimely death. This song is his legacy and I'm sure it will stir a lot of pots and I'm sure the word got him killed! love Sidhu Moose Wala not just because of his music but how caring and selfless he was. A kid who saw fame very early on, who was at the peak of his career and yet his career had just begun. He could have afforded a lavish life in Canada or anywhere in the world but he chose to return to his roots to help improve the living conditions of his community. Even in death, he continues his unconditional support to the community through his lyrics and music.. if that isn't legacy, I don't know what is. I hope his dreams are realized sooner or later and things improve for his community. Amen*

सिद्धु मूसेवाला के SYl गाने की लाइन “ओना चिर पाणी छड्डो, तुपका नहीं दें दे” को लेकर लोगों को कन्फ़्यूज़न है कि पानी का टपका किसको नहीं देने की कही है? हरियाणा को? तो इस लाइन के अर्थ समझने के लिए - “सानू साडा पिछोकड़, अते साडा लाणा दे देयो चंडीगढ़, हिमाचल अते हरियाणा दे देयो” को ध्यान से समझें कि शुरुआत में ही परिवार एक करने की कह रहा है, और ठीक इसकी अगली लाइन में ही उसने अंग्रेज़ी शब्द “सोवेरिएनिटी” का इस्तेमाल किया है। यानी कि हमारा परिवार (राज्य) एक कर दो और संप्रभुता दे दो। हम अपना मसला ख़ुद हल कर लेंगे। इसी गाने में एक लाइन और है - “क्यों पग्गां नाल खहन्दा फिरदां, टोपी वालेया” इसको भी समझने की ज़रूरत है। पग्ग (पगड़ी) को सिर्फ़ सिखी से जोड़कर मत देखना, हरियाणा में भी पगड़ी को बहुत अहम माना जाता है। और टोपी वाले ये नेता हैं, जो हमें आपस में लड़वाते हैं।
