My favorite part about this Bini x Penshoppe collab is seeing little kids losing their minds whenever they walk past Penshoppe stores with huge BINI posters. It's adorable how much the kids adore them. Also, for so long, Penshoppe has had mostly foreign celebrities as their main endorsers/ambassadors to the point that I forgot Penshoppe was an actual PH brand. Now we finally have a PH group (a girl group no less!) as the face of this massive PH clothing brand. As a Bloom, I am so proud. And as a Filipino, i'm really happy.

Penshoppe (pen-shop) started out making pop music- inspired graphic tees in the late 80s. Eventually they ventured into designing fresh apparel for young adults reminiscent of H&M. They’re based in the Philippines. I suggested to them that they ought to invest some marketing dollars on one of the widescreen digital billboards at Times Square showing the part of the video where it’s just an all-white background and the camera pans left to right, in order to create awareness for their brand as well as BINI. It’s a win-win for both. This video is meant to be seen there.

This is an ad song for a clothing brand and it had no business being such a bop. I was in a Penshoppe store to buy something and this was playing and found some people bopping their heads to it. Thanks for the reaction video, Ashley. I think the appeal of Bini songs are the positive vibes they give, which are happiness and inspiration. Another thing that I like about their songs is that the tracks can both be sung and danced to. I really lament the fact that many group songs these days are leaning towards dancing and neglecting the singing aspect of the track. As a result, there's no clearly defined chorus in most of the songs. So far, Bini and other p-pop groups have not taken this kind of trend, and hopefully will not, because we Filipinos love to sing as much as dance
