The stuff you were confused on If someone refers to tryannitar as "ttar" it usually means they've been on the smogon forum/follow competitive pokemon and know the metagame(meta) "Making waves that got me banned from OU" In diamond and pearl, garchomp was ridiculous to deal with and for a time he got banned from the overused(OU) tier "Muddy water like a public toilet" There's a move called "muddy water" and it was one of Goodra's best moves (still a gross bar but w/e) Also: sack fondler

Additionally: 2 and 2 number of arms in Salamence was referencing Metagross, which is 2 Metang stuck together. Forever Grand like Drake was is a reference to the Ever Grand conference (the Pokemon League of Hoenn) and the Drake the elite four member

*Insert nerd emoji* So to explain Cam’s verse a bit, Garchomp in DPP (Diamond/Pearl/Platinum) OU (OverUsed, Smogon’s main tier of competitive play) was ridiculously good due to having arguably the best stat spread of all time and a great move pool. This combined with its ability Sand Veil (which gives Garchomp a 10% chance to dodge almost any attack in the Sandstorm weather condition) and its fantastic typing in Dragon/Ground made it quite the threat. Oh yeah, and Sandstorm was permanent when set by the ability Sand Stream, which two other great Pokémon in Tyranitar and Hippowdon had. The only ways to change the weather was the unreliable Abomasnow and its ability Snow Warning or the gimmicky and mostly useless moves Sunny Day and Rain Dance. So Garchomp basically had at least a 10% chance to dodge any move permanently and there’s almost nothing you could do about it. And it’s also one of the most threatening offensive Pokémon of all time with Swords Dance and STAB Earthquake. All of this combined makes one the most broken Pokémon to ever grace OU. Since it was so overwhelming, it was banned from the tier. If you want a better explained version of this, I’d recommend watching “How Good was Garchomp Actually” by False Swipe Gaming, or at least the DPP part. Also Sorry for the essay on DPP Garchomp, I’m a bit of a competitive Pokémon nerd lol.

When the "topple any" Legendary line comes up in Goodra's verse, it shows Xerneas, which is basically the only Legendary back in X & Y that is Fairy type, making it immune to all Dragon Type moves. I just find it funny that they chose the one Legendary that Goodra, a pure Dragon type, can hardly even hit, never mind "topple".

So OU is a tier of meta pokemon competition. OverUsed. His stats are near legendary, with two typings that were REALLY strong damage wise. but the true reason he got banned from OU was his ability; Sand Veil. in gen 4, weather effects were permenant and Sand Veil's effect is when Sandstorm is active, Garchomp's evasion skyrockets. evasion and accuracy based effects are crazy strong in the OU so he was moved up to Uber tier which he was STILL shining.

For the Dragonite verse, I think the rhyme was supposed to be “Dragonite” and “half my height.” With the way Ross says it, this is a really weird place for the rhyme to fall. Also, “I’m harder than Charizard is” sounds like a reference to Shuetube’s verse on the starter cypher

I honestly liked Mat4yo's verse. It was off the rest of the cypher but to me, someone who knows nothing about how to rap, I liked it since to me Hydragon was always the odd dragon-type-pseudo-legendary. Like the new, different, interesting, scary ass, pseudo. And the Garden of Gethsemane bar was cool. I can't believe the Sack Fondling incidident, now I can't hear that verse and see it the same way.

Sac Fondler on the loose in the town town town town town! Overall we shared a general opinion of the cypher, although I did like Mat4yo’s verse more than you seem to. I will say, I think the reason for 6 repetitions in Breeton Boi’s verse was specifically because of the first one being “Pow”. I think he used 6 to represent 6 Pokémon in a party. Like “Pow! POW! POW! POW! POW! POW! Your team is done!”

Sack fondler here, I agree with the fact that there was little intensity in Bretons repeats, but the “Bow Bow…” just hit sooooooo nice, it became my favourite verse. The crown seemed out of place and could’ve been smoother, but still enjoyed it nonetheless.

I think this cypher was fine. There were good parts and bad parts. The highlights were Cam and Mat's verses, for me and the worse moments were Mari's and Breeton's verses imo. I feel like I needn't go into detail about good parts cause most people seem to get those already and think everything is good. I think Mari's Kommo-o verse just... doesn't feel like it flows a lot of the time. A lot of the time in the first half it sounds like they struggled to fit the words they wanted into the length of a bar and just said fuck it, along with the lyrics really not being anything special the whole time. Then Breeton's verse just felt lazy. They rhymed a line with itself then had 3 bars in a row that were just the same word and didn't sound cool. Felt like a weak way to end a cypher. I also wanna shout out "Zapdos could turn a Blaziken to chicken dinner" for having no reason to exist in a Goodra verse. Like?????? What does this have to do with anything? Why is it here? Save this for a more general Pokemon rap lol. I guess I have to say sack fondler >.>

I disagree about Mari, his rap was great imo and it was probably my favorite verse, but I can understand why you dislike the other verses. I think Breeton could have been better if he did the rhyme thing only once and didn't repeat it two more times. The Goodra part rhymes good but it doesn't make any sense like you said. I also dislike Mat's verse, but it's really because of the fast part. Fast raps are hit and miss for me and this was a definite miss personally.

I get what you mean about Mari's verse, and it doesn't flow in the same way as the rest of the track. I think the appeal for a lot of people was in the delivery and background music rather than in the lyrics or flow. Although it's a little strange to have that almost at the end of a Cypher. Usually a flow switchup like that would be towards the middle or ending it. I don't think that Breeton's verse was lazy (him rhyming something with itself is something we've seen him do before) but it's definitely one of his weaker performances on a Cypher (Not bad, just way to different from everything else).

Im so confused as to why "a zapdos can turn a blaziken to chicken dinner" exists in the goodra part. What does zapdos or Blaziken have to do with goodra? If Blvk Divmonds wanted a 'turn blaziken into chicken dinner' why not say "a goodra can turn a blaziken to chicken dinner". Goodra learns moves that could cook something ie flamethrower, thunderbolt, incinerate, and dragon pulse and is relevant to the cypher. Alright I gotta agree the sack fondler here. I think the highlights are Politicess, Connor, and Diggz. This is Mat4yo's second weakest verse of all of Cam's Cyphers due to the pace breaker of an opening. I think this is a solid Cypher, but it didn't have the super highlighted verse that the best Cam Steady cyphers tend to have.
