Well, Happy one again! When my late older brother got to a certain age he said when his birthday came he was going to start counting them backwards. Not a bad idea. Single pickup Firebirds are the coolest Firebirds!

Thanks ever so. For a couple of reasons my Ma never knew if her birthday was the 20th or the 22nd of April so I grew up with a flexible view on birthdays generally 😂 You're absolutely right. Single pickup Firebirds are the coolest.

Single pick-up Firebirds have incredible tone that acquires a `BITE' as they season with age I found . Very nice one there in your's also Paul sir'! `LIKED'

With the volume up you have to turn the tone down to 4. It has bite and them some 😊 It is a guitar that would have no trouble in cutting through a mix.

My Ma, who was born in rural Ireland in 1923, never quite knew when her birthday was partly because of a parish records fire and also because her ma and pa had 13 kids and couldn't remember if she was born on a Tuesday or a Thursday. She used to say she was like the queen with a 'real' birthday and an official birthday. I'm following in her footsteps... Might as well have two while I still can 😂 The Firebird is great to play. Feels and sounds really good. The controls are in an odd place but no odder than the SG Junior so it's not really a problem. Thanks Davie, for the visit and the very kind words.

i've always founded so weird to have tuners behind the headstock ! it looks really good, but ive needed some time to be used to :) i love when you are turning back to riff 02:45

Merci Fred. I know what you mean about the tuners but these are actually less confusing than than the Hendrix Strat with the upside down headstock. I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
