This is what mature KDrama I expect. Damn. I love it. The chemistry, the cinematography, the story, the actors. They're all great. It's not the regular KDrama people are used to but this kind of different is sooo good. I hope they get more series together.

This drama and it's actor could totally stand on it's on, the one nude sex scene totally unnecessary, story line so strong you didn't need it. I don't know why if it's a Netflix production they feel nudity is always necessary. Great acting.

Yes, I’m in mid 40’s and bunch of the dramas are like teen agers and high schoolers even the actors are in mid 30’s which is too cringy for me . This is the drama that I’m looking

Yes this was such a mature Korean drama I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. The actors move you in a way that is honest and not over the top which is refreshing to watch. With media pushing out so much content to watch it has become a lost art to capture such subtle catharticism. ❤

If there was a documentary about Seo Hyun-jin's everyday life, I would watch it 24/7. She's just such a stunningly lovely person and perhaps the most talented actresses in the entire world. The Trunk is such a good drama that I don't dare binge on it all at once, but like a patient child I save the lollipop; licking off half an episode at a time so I don't overdose on SHJ. ❤

She is an excellent actress. I have seen all her drama since she started and very beautiful. Her movies are rare but has substance. The only thing I ob served shes so skinny which makes her old, pls add a little bit of weight you are pretty.

Eight is PERFECT! Easier to get into, especially for this kind of story. No Gain No Love did 12 and that was also perfect for a romcom with a twist. 16 feels draggy. A bunch of extra nonsense added to pad the numbers.

She saw where he had walked to and purposely walked up and down the street then turned back to make a high chance of encountering him as he returned to his car. Very nice ending! Remember, she was a professional wife! Beautiful movie and there is hope for the murdered too! The man who plated the psycho did a great job as well! All the supporting actors are top notch. I am also enjoying “Love Your Enemy”!

I love the ending. They did not rush being together and allowed time for themselves to heal. Meeting again now and the second time when they are both mentally healthier and happier was the perfect ending. ❤

This video really showed how much effort they took to understand and empathise with the characters. The off screen chemistry is so adorable, just natural and them being real and authentic. It made me cry when she wanted to end the contract with him at the holiday house because she was all he had, but I realised he has transferred that unhealthy codependency from SeoYeon to InJi.. and that’s just still unhealthy and he didn’t grow as an individual. But with them ending it first, being apart and healing themselves as an individual that’s truly becoming a whole then coming together to be a stronger duo and that’s just so much more mature and beautiful though I really want a part 2 but the best dramas are always the ones that leave adequate space for the viewer’s imagination

i agree! i think this series didn't just bring out sweet or cute romance kinda scenes, but really explored the themes of codependency and toxic relationships. i think jeongwon eventually just had to learn for himself how it was like to live on his own first, then come back to love someone else, truly, without yearning to depend on them or have them around all the time, like he was with seoyeon.

Ahh I love this kind of content so much where the actors reacted, explained and interpreted the scenes and characters. It shows how they really understand the storyline and the characters and makes us viewers feel more connected to the series. 8:16 lol Gong Yoo's reaction to the kiss scene is so funny 😂 9:53 " she's an actress with a deep understanding of the story" yes I feel the same that's why she nailed the Noh In Ji character 12:57 omg yess when I was watching this scene I also felt that the headlights of the cars are so aesthetically pleasing and created depth to the scene 16:22 "demolishing the house felt like a caterpillar-to-butterfly moment. Jeongwon needs to tear the house down to set himself free" gosh what a beautiful interpretation 17:98 "they ultimately become each other's 's savior" omg yes yes yes! This is exactly how I (and I believe other viewers) saw in the series and which is why we're so in love with the characters

I must say they are both phenomenal actors. It's so interesting hearing the amazing Hyun-Jin describe her character because I felt the same way, she truly was ambiguous and very hard to read. I am constantly fascinated by all the work that goes into bringing a character to life and portraying it exceptionally like in both their cases.. This was a beautiful and unique story. Yes, a rollercoaster of emotions but beautiful non the less.

I watched this drama slowly and carefully. It cannot be rushed. It’s deep and needs close attention. Both actors show their dedication to their craft and displayed great acting skills making this drama one of the best Korean dramas I have seen. The realistic kiss/ lovemaking scenes are a breath of fresh air in a Kdrama where mostly the intimate/ kissing scenes can be stilted and wooden plus lacking passion. The plot was also different and intriguing. All in all I give this drama the thumbs up 👍 Well done to the cast, crew, director and producers. More please 👏👏👏

I honestly didn't expect to love The Trunk so much. It was so captivating and deep, dark yet comforting in the end. Appreciate their commentary because I realized some of my understanding were the same as what they mentioned, and they talked about things I didn't notice as well. This makes me like the drama even more. From the cast, to the cinematography, to the directing and storytelling, and even the music. Everything just draws you in, and before I even realized it, I had binged the entire series. Thank you and amazing work to the team who created The Trunk! ❤I've enjoyed every episode immensely. This is definitely one of the best kdramas in 2024.

I don't even watch The Trunk but I finished watching this interview because the way they speak and answer the questions is so engaging. The way they share their thoughts both as their characters and as the actor/actress has so much depth that I was able to connect despite not having watched the drama. It says so much about how they take their profession seriously and how much love and passion they have for their art. I don't know them personally nor do i know how they act behind the cameras, but this interview made me really like them more as an actor/actress (since I already liked them way before with their previous dramas).

Very good drama - shot very well - so much care for details - it's very rare to find a story where only the necessary lines are told and it's so rewarding! I don't know if the characters' performance was due to the individual actors skills, the director's choices or to a great casting - maybe all of the above. I will remember this one.

SHJ and GY really brings out something unique to the viewers every time! I always respect and commend their acting and passion to their craft, but this commentary just brought so much more to the table as well! I love how they think and speak, it runs deep. Loved watching the different profound ugly realities of each character of The Trunk, finding love and acceptance, healing unexpectedly and eventually live a somewhat peaceful, contented, good life. There were a lot of very raw honest confessions and its refreshing to see and hear that! Most times people are afraid to show vulnerability. The cinematography and OST are beautiful! Though the chandelier has to go, haha I so hated it! Netfkix I hope to see more of SHJ & GY in the same project as these two are rare magnificent gems on screen and off screen!

I finished The Trunk in 2 gulps! Absolutely loved it. One of the best K dramas in 2024. So many Netflix K dramas just bore me to tears. I can't even finish them once I start. With this one, I was sucked in right from the start and the great writing, acting and cinematography kept me engaged with story until the end. (Great ending BTW)

I couldn't wait for my favorite K drama actor Gong Yoo to return to the screen in The Trunk! I loved the darkness of the setting and his complex traumatic emotional journey.. He is beautiful on screen and together with Seo Hyun-jin blend a beautiful chemistry for the main characters. I loved the kiss, and the long awaited love scene which is quite difficult to sometimes watch on tv but they filmed it with beauty and grace.

This video makes me appreciate their acting even more because they clearly studied and analyzed their characters a lot to deliver such solid performance. Since I'm not into fluffy romance anymore, The Trunk is my cup of tea. I like it. It has so much depth, a lot of metaphors.. it was gloomy and dark but at the same time, the story is interesting. Flashbacks and Flashforwards were also well inserted. It didn't confuse me at all. Chemistry between GY and SHJ is also top notch.

I find The Trunk was quite different in K drama romantic love stories. It was dark, happy, sad & suspenseful elements which I enjoyed greatly. At times it was hard to follow but the story pulled you deeper into each characters. Wanted the ending to be slightly differrent but overall a happy one. Highly recommend.

The trunk is my best kdrama for 2024. The warmth i felt when watching the love they potrayed. They gave comfort, healed and bring out the better self of each other. Well made drama. It is so comforting for me. I love drama that makes me feels something. Definitely deserve to be my best kdrama of 2024.

This interview/reaction made me appreciate the drama even more than I already do. Just finished it and instantly came across this video. Such a heartbreaking and captivating drama. I always love Gong Yoo but seeing Seo HyunJin (I don't believe I've watched any of her dramas) here made me appreciate her as an actor--she portrayed Noh In Ji so well!

There are only a limited number of dramas I am willing to rewatch and this is one of them. The drama lingers. I rewatched it immediately and then plan to view it again after some time has passed. I will always love Seo Hyun Jin for the depth, warmth, sadness and joy she brings to her characters. There is soul in her acting. Same with Gong Yoo, I like his acting in the dramas and films I've seen him in and how he carefully chooses his projects. He took it to another level here. Cheers! 🎉 And, thank you for this drama.

Với những ai từng có những trải nghiệm như vậy, thì bộ phim như thể nói hết ruột gan của mọi người mà bấy lâu không thể diễn tả cho ai khác thấy. Thực sự bộ phim quá hay, quá xuất sắc, từ diễn xuất cho tới cách làm phim, âm nhạc nữa. Bộ phim như một người bạn hiểu mình vậy, cảm giác có người hiểu mình ý, là cảm giác vô cùng ấm áp, được an ủi biết bao.

That's right what gong yoo ssi said.. do rewatch the series then u'll find the meaning of this series.. u can fell how depressed jeong won is.. how stressed inji is.. after all I REALLY LIKED THE TRUNK VERY MUCH 💙💙💙 I really hope can see them in other romcom drama
