Poland chose their entry!... and what an entry! :-(
Blanka with the song "Solo" was chosen by a mixed jury-televote system to represent Poland in Liverpool.
Liverpool will host the 67th Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine.
The Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place in Liverpool on Saturday 13 May at 8pm GMT. Semi-Finals on Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 May 8pm GMT

Jann is a genius, a true artist who plays with his whole body and voice. His song Gladiator is demonic and powerful because it shows the true, dark side of show business with all its corruption. He compares the artist's performances to fighting in the arena. The truth hurts and maybe that's why they didn't let him win? Jann's other works have a different aesthetic. All the lyrics are philosophical, beautiful and everyone can choose something for themselves.

This is not Poland's choice. Polish people voted for Jann - Gladiator. TVP (Polish Public Television) chose jury who chose Blanka. Our votes didn't matter

As a Pole, i need to say we are very dissapointed in the jury’s decision. Its a catchy song, there is a chance it will qualify to the final, but its not our choice :( Blanka had 3 times less votes than Jann PS thank you for talking about this, it means a lot xx

The studioversion of Blankas song is much better, but Jann is still so much better. Try to find the show filmed on a phone - the TV-sound wasn't good at his performance... (I found an Ukrainian expert that made a long compairison of different recordings of both songs.) I think you'll find a performance you really like when you see Jann. I think it's the best Polish song I've ever heard. It's easy to understand that he got 65%* of the televotes... * saw this number in a comment, also seen 18000 for Jann and 6000 for Blanka. (But I don't understand those numbers - I hope there are more people voting.)
