Siti Nurhaliza is no.1 singer in Malaysia, actually she sang a Minangkabau song, Minangkabau is an ethnic originated from West Sumatera in Indonesia, meanwhile there are sizeable Minangkabau descendant in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. the music arrangement is quite unique in my opinion because it harmonized Minangkabau instrument (talempong) and also Malay music. The song itself tells about a wife being sad because her husband must leave for work in another city/place far away , 'bapisah bukannyo bacarai' or in Malay/bahasa Indonesia 'berpisah bukannya bercerai' roughly means a farewell is not a separation. I, myself is an Indonesian from Jakarta, ethnically Minangkabau and Sundanese. Nice video 🙏cmiiw
