I’m pretty sure it’s sapphire, it’s hard to tell, because of the green haze, but he’s got the purple and blue tinge… plus he’s the only one in OG that’s like a giant sea monster. Emerald you fight underwater, but he’s bipedal, whereas the one in the trailer has a big tail.

Good points, I believe Nomura in a recent interview said it is actually a new weapon? which is kind of nutty considering that I was wasn't expecting to see any Weapon fights until part 3 of the remake trilogy
